I wrote a program to compare the end credits of different episodes and piece together the background as much as possible, and this is the result. There are still visible remnants of credits text, but the vortex is much cleaner than it was, and if you were to put new text over the top of it, then hopefully the remnants wouldn't be that noticeable.

Watching this just after rewatching the 1996 movie. Man, the Eighth Doctor's TARDIS is so atmospheric.
If chibby wasnt a lazy writer, then this would have happened. The regeneration was meant to be here with capaldi lying down, like in the classic seriws but Chibnall didnt (wasnt capable of) writing a christmas episode, as we later found out when he axed them entirely.
