Thanks for a short, to the point video. I assume you're powering a PA12 from the video and I also assume that you are testing with nearly zero river current and wind assist. I do believe you might improve very slightly if you flatten your fins against the hull when not using, or remove the drive maybe. I've been running my Native Slayer Propel 13 (8 yrs old) with the NK300 for about 6 months. On nearly flat water as in your video I have gotten in the 6.7 to 7.0 range at full power - but it only takes 75 to 80% to stay at 6 mph. Lately, I've been finding windy conditions and a light chop - that can definitely take 1/2 mph off of your top speed. Also, you can run that motor all day on the 36V40AH battery at 75% power. I hope to test it soon on my ATAK 120 - expect good things.

Thumbs down Hobie, really disappointed of your lack of support for your products regarding accessories. Purchased my hard earned cash on a Lynx and cant get your H-rail kit at any dealer in Australia. You have created all these specific h- rail attachments, which I had invested in that I had kept from my previous kayak, (PA12) and cant use them because your manufacturing/ supply chain is sub par. This is my 4th hobie can I can say its definately not the supportive company of old. Have contacted Hobie HQ and thus fare no response bar the automated reply. 👎🏼

Keep the spare tire in the truck. Unfortunately, the light weight of the trailer has the trailer floating up on the side that you mount the tire to. Which is a pain on deep ramps.

guys you need to buy wood, real insects or metal lures all this plastic is wrecking our lakes and streams..

Can you lift/carry the lynx by the h rail?

I just snagged an H-rail kit! I was wondering if you’ve seen any damage to the hull at the rear mounting point? There are a few videos about this and one company is selling spacers to put between hull and back mounting bracket that they say mitigate this damage. Do you think the spacers are necessary?

Do these guys still make trailers? I’ve tried reaching out to them multiple times and no response. Such a sweet trailer!!!

Thank you for the video but the most important critical thing is to make sure that you match the curve of the H-Rail with the curve of the lynx.

That's a beautiful trout, can't wait too get out on my Sportsman Autopilot, tight lines

and the rear attachment points will pull up the hull shell into raised bulges. It seems Hobie is saying it's just cosmetic, it's not, but now it sounds like they are going to include internal shims to maybe prevent it, but too late for those of us that have ruined $3k kayaks. Navarre is selling shims as well, but once the bulges are there, the shims do no good.
