This guy thinks he has all the answers because he's doesn't want to change his ways, and that's fine, but I can guarantee you that no one has all the answers to everything and no matter he says his Opinion and really doesn't matter just like he doesn't care about what others have to say and besides why would anyone believe or even listen to a guy dressed like him.

Ra is a very ignorant man. Almost all denominations agree on essential doctrines of Christianity, with only three real differences in the West: Orthodoxy, Catholicism, and Protestantism. Non-essential doctrines are what almost all denominations disagree about - things like how to worship (should music be allowed in church, etc.), can one lose one's salvation, how is grace applied, how is one regenerated, etc. Some of these things are or seem to be unclear to many people. And his claim that God does not exist is ridiculous, especially when he says that "God" is an empty assertion. Ra is a fallacious and arrogant thinker.

The problem with this "debate" is that Aron keeps talking and won't let the other person answer.

re - the idiot at ~ 11:45 Hitler wasn't enthusiastic about killing EVERYBODY, he was only really enthusiastic about killing Jews. Hitler was Catholic. He blamed the Jews for killing Jesus (deicide). He spread this nonsense throughout occupied Europe, to encourage widespread hatred of the Jews, in Europe's (then) predominantly Christian population. It was hatred, based on religion and spread by religion - specifically 'Christianity!' In fact, it was MORE than just "hatred," it was unconscionable genocide and it was STILL based on Christian religion and it was spread, gaining normality and acceptance, thanks to the Christian religion. Ps: Here's ANOTHER way that Christians and Christianity makes no sense at all - They (Christians) HATE the jews for killing christ. And yet, Christians are inspired and enthralled by the tale of human sacrifice (Jesus on the cross) and human blood-offerings to God, which God actually FORBADE in the Old Testament. I guess he must have forgotten that he forbade human sacrifice. Probably in the exact same way that he forgot about the existence of Jesus when he dictated the very first of the 613 Commandments, which tells people "I am the Lord, thy God, who brought you out of the house of bondage in Egypt. You shall have no other Gods before me." Of course, when the bible says that, Christians understand it to mean "except for Jesus." But I digress... This isn't about demonstrating the MANY ways in which Christianity reveals itself to be a false religion; a fictional religion, invented by people, with nothing divine about it. Instead, this comment is about showing the rank hypocrisy shown by various Christians. In fact, to illustrate this hypocrisy to them, just ask them "If you could go back in time, right now, taking with you a variety of assault rifles, along with a SWAT team, and appearing during the Last Supper, within sight of Jesus... Would you try to save Jesus from what's in store for him? Or would you just spectate the entire ordeal, knowing that it's within your power to stop it (you wouldn't even break a sweat, doing so). Do you love Jesus enough to save him from his fate? Or do you love what-he-can-do-for-you, much more than you love him?

This is only one small reason why I'm not religious at all. I grew up in a Catholic family who ended up becoming highly abusive and I was basically exiled for not following their beliefs (some peaceful religion). Anyway I naturally grew up meeting all types of religious people but almost every single one of them can't handle me choosing not to have a religion which I always found very strange and hypocritical to say the least. They can never just live and let live the way I do. One of my beliefs is to never lose Hope, and to be the change you want to see. Without action there is no hope. Simply hoping for things to happen is the single most laziest thing one can do, unless of course, it's hoping for something that is completely out of one's hands. In that case all we have left is hope, but still, do whatever you can in any case. Action speaks louder than words and prayer by themselves or even combined. No offense to people of faith, but if I'm going to respect what you all believe, I expect the same in return. Practice what you preach, because in the end we are all in the same boat, so don't start poking holes just because others don't believe what you believe. It's perfectly natural to have brothers and sisters having the freedom to choose what to believe in. Hope this helps.

I know he’s right, I know he can back up what he says, be he comes off as a hot-under-the-collar fifth grader, interrupting, talking over, taking cheap little jabs at his opponent and just generally arrogantly asserting himself and chiding his opponent. Look, just in the opening couple of minutes where he’s stated “The truth is what the facts are” which I mean, is true in a pithy sense, but you obviously need to be able to interpret those facts right? Anyway, the theist here very reasonably asks “And how do you know what the facts are?”. I agree that Aron was right to sense this was going into presuppositionalism, but he jumps the gun and goes straight to “You think reality isn’t real”. Like dude, I’m sorry but the optics of that are *awful*. He sounds like a creationist dodging the question “what is faith?”. It’s a shame. Again, I *know* he’s correct, but he has all the optics of an insecure preacher, grandstanding for his followers
