@@danivanutti Yeah but he never actually loved Chrissie, he was with her for the money. He loved Aaron with his whole heart though and like he said Aaron's skint so he can't be with him for the money. He also only cheated on Aaron once and really regretted it and he himself told Aaron the truth. With Chrissie though he cheated on her with her sister a few times and then for months with Aaron with no remorse or intention of telling her. That's the difference between the two. He let Aaron go a lot sooner too than keep begging for Aaron to take him back like he did with Chrissie as he knew he had caused Aaron to be hurt both emotionally and physically. You must be either too young, stupid or blind if you weren't able to notice the difference between how Robert treated Aaron and how he treated Chrissie

You on the other hand create this stupid 'perfect love story' in your head which clouds your ability to see what's right in front of you. Robert abused Aaron many times, both emotionally and physically and, even though he was forgiven for everything he'd done, he still chose to hurt Aaron and break his trust again by cheating with Rebecca. Honestly I pray you never end up in an abusive relationship because you seem to be to dumb to get out of a situation like that.

Daniel Vanutti I am aware it’s a toxic relationship but it’s a soap opera, it’s not real. Anyway Robert still did love Aaron so that’s why he never cheated again and they were happy for over a year when they got back together until Robert murdered someone like the psychopath he is. I loved the Robron storyline as it was an eventful, emotional rollercoaster and even if you disagree a beautiful love story. Not a perfect one but I saw two men who were broken and fixed each other. If it were real life I would never ever be accepting of a relationship like this, that’s the beauty of acting. You need to understand the difference between fiction and reality mate

Robert was hardly a positive representation of bisexuality. He hated admitting he wasn't straight, used to hide it and to top it off he cheated on both his spouses.

I agree with you completely! But it’s still nice to hear a character say “I’m bisexual” instead of just “I don’t like labels” or something along those lines. Plus, I appreciate his character growth throughout the show.

@@ThePoetOrTheMuse Me too until he slept with Rebecca. Because that only reinforced the stupid stereotype that a bisexual person can't be faithful and will always cheat on their partner with the opposite gender. That was a low blow from the writers of the show.

That’s true. I didn’t like that plot line at all, either. I did like how they handled it though. It was interesting to see a couple work through a big thing like that and become stronger for it. But I definitely think the show could have done without that stereotype.

@@ThePoetOrTheMuse Couldn't agree more. And they had the chance to open that discussion, they did it briefly before Robert cheated. But then after that they simply got back together and the opportunity to discuss the issue just vanished.
