GTX 1660 TI was a very good card, but I sold it for $150 and for $300 I bought MSI RTX 4060 GamingX. 😊

The i7 4770 is powerful enough to pair with GTX 1660 TI. Of course, an RTX 4090 needs a more powerful processor, but do we need an RTX 4090 to have fun?

RX 7600 is a good upgrade. It's surprising how well the i7 4790K performs in this game.

Unfortunately no. Your CPU works at 3.8 GHz for all cores. My processor works at 4.6 GHz.

@@PantherPie Probably 30-40%. It depends on what other components your PC has.

As you can see, CPU load was ~50% and GPU load 98-99%. I don't think the processor will help you in this game.

Doesn't matter the processor. Z97 chipset motherboards support memories up to 3200 MHz.

yes, the game stutters sometimes.

I can test but there are no improvements. The naughty dog used a trick. The list refers to the last patch versus the first version (1.0.1.0) to give the impression that each patch brings many improvements. In reality they corrected few bugs but there is no performance improvements.

What cpu, motherboard and memory do you have?

@@mikymouse7525 have the same setup as you except the mobo and ram. motherboard is h81m-r and ram is ddr3 1660mhz 16gb dual channel.

@@tomica2306 Unfortunately, you have a different configuration. You cannot overclock the CPU and 16 GB DDR3 1600 is not equal to 32 GB DDR3 2133. Another motherboard would be good for you. You need a Z97 motherboard and 32GB DDR 3 2400MHz and a good cooler that allows you a decent overclock.

@@mikymouse7525 I really doubt the RAM is the issue here. I have a 4690K, 1060 6GB, 16GB of DDR3 1600 CL9, and a Z97 motherboard, I have my game rendering on 480p or something unreasonable like that, on lowest possible settings, with both CPU and GPU overclocked. I'm getting a choppy experience around 40 FPS. That is insane. I restarted it just yesterday and have no other programs open. It also crashes if I look at it wrong.

This benchmark was recorded with version 1.0.1.0. In the meantime, several patches appeared that reduced the CPU load. It should also be taken into account that Nvidia Shadowplay has increased the CPU load. I don't think i7 4790 will be a bottleneck for GTX 1070 TI but this game needs more than 16GB of RAM (24GB or 32GB is required).

@@mikymouse7525 in general, I'll try to test. I have, thank God, 24 gigabytes, and even overclocked to 2200 MHz.

The game doesn't have a benchmark included, but the GTX 1660 TI ran very well with everything maxed out at 1080p.
