100 years of professional baseball and 7 years of Bananas baseball. I would love to see professional baseball to come back to Savannah and Grayson Stadium. If an owner with a yellow suit can sell out that joint and win championships, the possibility of Minor League Baseball sharing a stadium with the Savannah Bananas should be certain. Savannah Bananas have went on World Tour and sold out minor league ballparks. The next available games regarding tickets is in August.

I remember driving into Atlanta when the lights were off on the interstate - a broke city. Now no policemen and crime insanely crazy - a broken city. Now American children are selling water on the streets of Atlanta. A serial killer on the interstates. Car Jacking. Suburban people being murdered on golf courses, in the parks, on GA400, in Buckhead and other surrounding areas. It's OK if the intercity people kill each, but us in the suburbs being murdered from intercity people is unacceptable. Buckhead wants to separate from Atlanta, a major tax base about to leave. I can't wait to see ATL on the level of Chicago and Detroit. Seriously Atlanta, find a retired plumber before elected any of those on the stage. Try something new instead of the lying insiders you keep electing.

I grew up in Jasper county S.C.. I went to public school here in the 70s and 80s..our school and faculty was mostly black and many were definitely Gullah.. I was a little white girl and I didn't know any different...and they didn't treat me any different... when you're a kid, you don't realize how special things are till you grow up..now, going on 49, I know how blessed I am to have had more than just a school education... I had a cultural education... I went away for 20 years, but I came back 7 years ago...and now I know how significant and beautiful this place really is..

To my Gullah/Geechees… The name Gullah is in the Strong’s Concordance Bible dictionary as a Hebrew name. Look in the Hebrew Language section on page 1353 and you can see for yourselves. Yah’ll (we) are Hebrews. Our names were not mis-pronounced as Angola or Golas although some of our ancestors were from there. The Spanish and English called us Gullah or GuYah (In spanish the LL makes a Y sound) because they knew who we were. Geechees are the Yamasee or Yahmassee (Yah) (Yahweh) who were also Hebrews and were called (Maroons, Guale, Yamacraw, Creek Aborigines) by the Spanish. Cum-by-Yah, Ah-ha-Yah, We-Ben-Yah (We Son of Yah), Hallelu-Yah.

Basket weaving is a beautiful art form and people always love the effects but don't see the hard work that goes into making them. The preparation alone takes a month for some of the weaving materials used !! Wow beautiful
