I remember watching the derby, preakness, and Belmont that year. I was only 14 and thought he was going to do it. He is, and always will be my favorite horse!
I remember at 9 years old I told mom.he was going to win the Kentucky derby. Strike the Gold was a favorite racehorse i adored for years.
