Mine is low decibel bass sounds. Screama music is extremely offensive! Rap music extremely offensive! It is so awful.

Thank you. I experience certain sounds as *physically* painful (even thinking about them hurts, I am a musician and have quite detailed audiation. (imagining of sound) ) the worst was taking the bus to Children's Development Centre on the short bus and having to deal with a kid with cerebral palsy who liked to suck on the straps of his backpack. which made my skull hurt and would make me so mad. So i would just plug my ears basically the entire time (or start freaking out anytime I took my fingers out of my ears and started to hear the sound again) btw I was sent to CDC for anger management and impulse control issues. This video gave me some perspective on one thing that contributed to the difficulties I experienced in school and life in general, that I hadn't really connected the dots on.

I'm surprised. The particular techniques you encountered may be uncommon. Further, everyone is different.

I have undiagnosed misophonia and right now I’m in tears because a huge trigger for me is my dad clearing his throat and he has acid reflux so he does it all the time, we live in a small flat so I can hear everything and I’m so fucking enraged like I’ve been scratching my skin, pulling my hair and I so badly want to scream and punch walls. I have no idea how to explain it to him

With the loud TV I told my dad what Misophonia is That and his snorring is a majorrrrrrrrr trigger. He basically became his usual victim self and called the police. I am moving the fuck out!!!!!! Love you all!

I have misophonia but mainly just chewing and smacking or repetitive sounds in a quiet place but it’s weird I can watch the asmr tapping videos

I really truly hope that MOST people who are suicidal will feel better but sadly some people really WILL NOT EVER feel better in there whole life if you get incurable diseases that torture you and ruin your whole life you will not feel better ever unless there is a cure but sadly sometimes that will not ever happen in that persons lifetime and suicide sadly IS the only solution for feeling better for those people I really REALLY want suicidal people to always try to get help cause for alot and HOPEFULLY MOST people can feel better but we cannot just ignore the extremely depressing fact that some people will not ever feel better with the terrible incurable disease they have and assisted suicide SHOULD be made available to those unfortunate people!
