I love this area ! It has been many years sense I have been there. I really enjoyed this video. I see the roads are still a little rough. I had 4-wheel drive when I went. Not sure a car would get through many of the roads. I think it is great that you showed how the roads are back there, so people can prepare. Like the wooden bridge you went over ! Such a beautiful area. Really enjoyed 👍

“4WD” Escape? I have a 2013 2.0 “4WD”. I’m vacationing in Michigan about 70 miles south of Silver Lake Dune. Good to know the Escape can handle some light dune hills.

You can just push the nipple into the coupler you only have to pull the coupler to disconnect btw. Love the idea though.

You do know a hacksaw will cut just as fast as an air tool like that. Uses no electricity.

I would hesitate to use knobs on it. I know of several people that have had shovels traction boards all kinds of stuff stolen off the roof rack of their jeep just while sitting in a hotel or something overnight. One was even at a gas station at night when he went in to get something to drink.
