Damn why such a late release date?? 😩

So apparently there was a test screening of the movie. Considering they set it a year and a half away which is abnormal for a completed movie, it's not a good sign. I'm willing to bet we'll hear about substantial rewrites and reshoots in the near future. WB also did not mention mortal kombat during during cinemacon during their 2025 line up so it sounds like they don't have any faith in it being good.

This can't be real news unless todd officially confirms it,so we don't have no teasers not even full clear looks at some of the costumes and fans have to wait til next year in Oct they better hope nothing delays it like another strike or a pandemic me i believe it will be released around jan or February of 2025,the film has wrapped months ago and to be released so late of next year is pretty far away if they are so sure that will delay it,thats my opinion but that's to far away if any later of 2025 would be march the latest,and right now they don't have any setbacks or holdups unless some of the actors or other problems came up making the movie,but October 2025 i wonder what all the fans feel about this and not just a few who don't mind waiting that long

I'm actually surprised it's that far out. October is a great release month for it though. Downside to is that I don't think we're going to see anything for it until summer next year.

Depends on what is done with him in the film tbh. At least Scorpion will be in the film alot longer than he was in MK 1995 and MK Annihilation combined.

It's good you pointed out the actors really don't have much of the inside info on editing and release dates. I don't think there's any chance of it releasing this year. They didn't even tease it at Cinema-Con as an upcoming movie. I still think it'll be quarter 1 of 2025 though.

When he said 10 minutes in, 10 minutes out, I believe he was just talking about the first movie. He doesn't know how it'll fall in line with the editing but it'll be a small, integral role. I think they need to do a Shira Ryu vs Lin Kuei movie after this. They could cover the history of the factions, fueds and it would make a ton of money starring scorpion and Bi-Han.

27 fights sounds good but i dont think its going to be in tournament fights he might just be talking about the movie lol and plus i have feeling its going to rush 27 fights for 3-5 minutes doesn't sound good for me.

Like what? Does Soyna even need a Arcana at this point? Kano is the best part of the film and they took him out. I'm more disappointed by Travel guide... There are enemies in your temple who can watch your fighters trains from the other side of the weakest forcefield and you're first thought is to stay put??? What?, Then there's Goro... Man, he's the perfect definition of "Don't speak about it, be about it". This man held Cole up and told him he would rip him apart...
