I attended this show with buddies from my Army unit. Drove to Pforzeim the day before, stayed up almost all night. We didn't have tents to sleep in, only the cars we packed into to get there. Once the gates opened, a few went in and others stayed back and heaved a couple two-liters of mixed drinks over the fence to those inside. We went right up to the stage and stayed there for Helloween, Cinderella and Ratt. Between Ratt's set and Metallica, our group decided to get away from the stage and move back some so we wouldn't get trampled when Metallica hit the stage. That's when I got separated from the group.

I was at this show! I was 14, and it was maybe the second concert I ever went to. Formative experience. I can help you out with some of the song titles: I: A Darker Shade of Grey V: Infierno IX: No return This was either their last, or second to last show, and I don't think they recorded any of those other songs. This tape may be the only existence of them.

Breaking up this band was Clapton's biggest career mistake. Winwood could have been the writing partner that he so desperately needed. After Derek & the Dominos, he never did anything compelling again, he was never a strong songwriter, and he needed a "wingman" like Winwood could have been. Same old story, youth and ego often get in the way.

Met them around this time was unreal show in a bar ,one I'm still in contact with on my Facebook page, underrated! These guys were great!

Core memory for me! I was 15 with my boyfriend against the stage: I changed into the fuck art let’s dance muscle tee that I bought. It was drenched by end of this show! My mom threw it away😂 BTW, same week I saw them with the GoGo’s and Bowie at Anaheim stadium.

I guess the band is still alive and living their lives, they just had enough of the music scene, one of them makes movie films. They just threw in the old towel in 1987. Its a shame because I wasn't alive to see them play on stage back then.
