Her name is Maybelline?!?! So cute
Poor dog hardly see it
So beautiful! Thank you đ. Your puppy is gorgeous and well behaved â€
Hi, what shampoo and conditioner do you use? And which food do you feed them? đ©·
I wish that would work with my dog. He's way to smart for that
Too cute!!
Why do you have the dog in full hair if it is a Pet?
I grow her coat because I like it, and also so I can teach pet owners how to groom a full coat.
Stupid music
I have a 5 year old yorkie that I have groomed myself her entire life. I keep her hair long but trim the ends so it doesnât drag the floor. I have never been good with her eye trim and feel like she had less problems before I ever began doing that. Like when all the hair in the corner of her eyes (the corner near the nose of course) was its natural length. Ever since I cut or shaved it, her eye gunk seems to be so much worse and it grows out to irritate her so quickly. So I decided to let it grow back to its natural length which now it doesnât seem capable of and is always in her eyes. I have to redo her bow several times a day to reach the little strays that have slipped out and now make it hard for her to see (well at least in my mind). Is it better to shave around the eyes or keep it natural length and top knot it?
Itâs a personal preference. But the hair pokes in the eyes less if you do not shave or cut the hair on the top of muzzle and corners of the eyes.
What elastic bands do you use?
I use a white latex band, but sometimes I use non Latex bands as well that last.
â@@GroomAtHome thank you. I needed to know this đ
How often do you do this and how do you keep the hair from breaking. Is this left in at night?
Ur to Rough with him don't you hear him winning
I donât know that you should say you came up with this idea. The Trach Saver has been out for years and itâs essentially the same thing
I make them I did not come up with the idea.
I need to purchase one and I do not see any store to do this. Can you help?
1/18/24. How do I purchase this?
Make sure not to get into her eyes itâs so painful! You can make a home remedy. Use organic witch hazel one tablespoon 1 tablespoon of organic aloe vera. If you get it from the plant, it would be better and 1 tablespoon of liquid coconut oil and then gently wipe the area with this solution twice a day for a whole month and you will see a difference, and the other thing is make sure that the hair around the eyes are cleared because hair poking in the eyes creates water and that will cause more staining also dogs most of them are allergic to chicken so you may want to check to see if your dog has chicken, allergies, grass allergies and of course make sure that their surrounding is washed in non-allergenic products that do not have synthetic dies colors and sense pure and cleanand vacuum the house more often
So gorgeousđ€
Thank you đ
Awwwwwwww he/she is so cute!â€
Thank you â€đŸ

Thank you â€ïž
You puppy is so well behaved, I have a Biewer Terrier and sh wiggles when I do her topknot
Thank you so much, she does love to be groomed đ©”
Where did you get the shampoo and conditioner stuff from Iâm trying to find some when I get my yorkie in a couple of weeks
thank you! link to safety harness, please!
I think I cut way too much of my babies hair on the sides because her pony tail is really thick & no matter what I do it STILL falls forward đ€š
Make one pony tail middle above eyes in front of another pony tail closer to between the years and attach the two, it prevents the pony tail from falling forward.
@@GroomAtHome ok Iâll try that!
I'm getting a Yorkie puppy soon, this is super helpful to see someone else go through the process of home grooming before I do myself. Thanks for the vid!
Glad it was helpful!
Awwwww ADORABLE yorkie Jasper â€â€â€â€â€â€â€ a CUTE of explosion đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„, kiss from mini yorkie Yoshi, au au đŸđŸđŸ
Hello Yoshi! đŸ
Do you have anything for the cat
I do not have a cat, but I would guess grooming consists of similar steps.
She's adorable.
â€thank you
We use this also, itâs great. What about heart worm preventative? Do you use that? Wondercide also repels mosquitoes. I use heart worm only a few months of the year.
I donât use heartguard. I would use the Wondercide to prevent mosquitoes.
OMG thanks, perfect timing! I just ordered this yesterday... plus, I'm waiting for my Biewer to be born (same coat, almost the same breed), so the fact that the adorable Jazzy is a Yorkie is perfect! Also, I really wanted to know more about the comb set it comes with. Please post on trimming Jazzy, and which combs you use, and where! Thanks! (Even if you don't post further, I appreciate this video...)
I will share a video, watch this channel for updates. Thank you Lynda!
@@GroomAtHome Will do, thanks! My baby Biewer was just born yesterday!
@@lyndagabriel6539 yay! So cute đŸ
I truly appreciate your video. I use a Wahl Motion set to 10 and i DO go in between the pads on the feet. I was taught that you have to do that and not just glide over it so I just got in the habit of doing that. I've never had a problem, thankfully! One thing I found very helpful is to do her rear and hold them toward me. Strangely, it seems that if she can see what I'm doing she'll get a little wiggly but if I do it from behind she doesn't mind. I was truly hoping to see how to make pillar legs. I can't figure out how to do it to save my life and I'm taking my little girl out of the Asian Fusion bell bottoms for summer and want to do an even pillar leg like the one in this video* which is an advertisement for shears. I certainly do not want those naked poodle-type feet on my Maltese đź but I very much desire learning to make those pillar legs. Could you create a video for that please? I've ordered new curved shears and a new curved lending shear already. Since I started grooming her myself, a couple of years ago, I have gone through one after another after another of the cheapo products shesrs. They always start off great on the first haircut and buy the second one, I'm standing there wondering why the Harrison looks so choppy when I did such a good job on it the month before đ Only grooming one tiny little 5 lb dog it is amazing that the cheap shears become expensive... VERY expensive! I would have been far better off starting out with good ones from the get-go. The cheap turnout expensive đ Thank you! *www.amazon.com/vdp/05bb8f154a2f44d09360440e6909e9f6?ref=ive_share_mshop_detail
Yes, blending the legs in an Asian fusion trim is tricky. I will have to make a video about it. Right now I am growing her into full coat. :)
@@GroomAtHome Thank you! đ
@@GroomAtHome I have figured out how to do it. You make three "square" cuts ("box" in... square is really the wrong word but I don't know which word to use) on the front and then curve up the back. Then use curved blending shears to make them into round pillars. I was stunned at how easy it was to do once I got my hands on curved blending shears.
I am not judging... I am just asking... is that healthy for them? đźđź my bulldog eats everything but I've never tried sardines. I really thought that was a cat thing.
Sardines are very good for them, they were recommended by her breeder. After research I found out they are very good for them :)
So how often do you do that then? I read it's bad for them I don't know what to believe these days one second it's ok the next it's not. Have you noticed any irritation? Please don't take offense to this question I simply would like to know my dog has ear problems
It doesnât need to be done very often just when you visually see your hair growing some dogs have a lot of deer hair and some have very little. What kinds of ear problems does your dog have? If itâs infections then yes you need to keep that your hair plucked because thatâs where moisture builds up bacteria and causes infection.
Yes, i heard the same so stopped removing ear hair. I clean them every 2 weeks with ear cleaner.
pooch is really enjoying this bath! and attn also messaging? lucky pooch.
Yes she enjoys it after I get her in the bathtub đ
Great video even though my dogs don't have drop coats. One of my dogs has really soft fine hair with a slight curl to it. It mats horribly. I struggle to groom her because the clippers push it down and even though I comb it up again, it's just so soft and she ends up looking like I used a weed eater on her. Any suggestions? Your little dog is beautiful!
The hair will cut uneven from dull clippers, a dirty or matted coat. I would bathe and de-matte the coat, then trim the body with a 5F blade, some areas you may have to go against the grain if the coat is too thin and slide through the blade. BUT do not go against the grain if there is mattes, you will pinch/ cut the dogs skin,
Looks horrible. Trim her coat.
The dog so cuteâ€
Thank you â€ïž
Will this work for me ?
Where can I pick up a tug leash like you made?

†this is Maybelline. She is a sweet Maltese. Do you struggle to trims your dogs nails?

Hi, I am wondering what you use for tear stains. Thank you
Hello, I need some advice please my moms 2 maltese are getting matted really bad and I have been trying to comb them out, can you tell what is the best conditioner for maltese that will help ? I know its not going to solve the problem but I feel like they need conditioner. I also going to get one of those brushes as well for her to use.
He's the best little guy đđ
Adorable! â€â€â€
