In an episode on the series, a Tornado destroyed Laura and Almanzo's house causing them to move back in with her Mom and father until the family got Almanzo to quit feeling sorry for himself because he was crippled. They showed where her father and Almanzo made a tiny little house right next to where their was house layed. I guess it was incorporated from the wood of the old place. Was that Hollywood hype or is that history? I still watch the old re-runs. Favorite show back then. Still among my favorites today.

They used to have what they claimed what if this was Hitlers car.

My daughter took me on a mothers day trip here and precious moments chapel. One of the many fantastic mothers day gifts she has showered me with. Both little house and precious moments are my favorite things

Kentucky girl been there 3 times love it. First I went with my mom aunt and uncle. Then few years ago mom and I took my son's.

I still need to go inside there I went quite a few years ago but they were closed for the season so and they didn't have the museum that's interesting

Been there about 8 yrs ago. The museum is pretty neat. Pa's fiddle was the highlight for me in there 😊

I've been there. It's very cool. I also have been to DeSmit, SD, where the Ingles lived when Laura was a child. Highly recommend both places!

I get emotional seeing this store. How many summer weekends I'd spend going to Blockbuster with my friends and picking out games to rent for NES, SNES, N64 and PS1... I was 1 yr old when Blockbuster first opened. I was 30 when it went out of business. My youth was spent at Blockbuster. Much like my youth, this place is now a distant memory except for this lone standing location... Sometimes more convenient doesn't mean better... Blockbuster will always be a better experience than NetFlix.
