6.5 diesel HX35 swap what you need to know
All parts used were found on amazon, local hydraulic shop, or hardware store. To reiterate the turbo feed fitting is a M12x1.5 male to a 1/4”NTP female. Good luck!

Crf250 or crf230? u said both in the video
My turbo went out and I’m nervous about the replacement
So each pin is a different idle speed then? or do you have to connect the two pin wires together into one and then to the switch? Or do you just pick the pin with the idle speed you want and go straight to the switch with it.. are you using both pins then to have two different idle speeds on a switch with more positions?
So you just have to ground the pins then?
Hey buddy, do you think that would fit the 97 XR 200
Does sound good!
Big step up in performance vs ur gm8 with the same tune or?
video format !@#.
I don’t understand how to get the pins in . It just bends when I try to push it in
Have the same ziptie clip 🤣
What size is the bolt on the oil supply line?

Your link is dead. Could you repost it? I can't find a 50 dollar exhaust. I bought a beat up 2001 XR200 and I figure for 50 bucks it can't be worse than what I have now lol
Sadly I can’t find it anymore, it must have gotten removed
This is really the only option since you can count on finding zero parts for a 200. They’ve all been beat into the dirt or cherished and no one is parting out anything good.
Did you take off the vacuum pump near the turbo? Got a hx35 and was gonna be lazy by not removing it to save time and trouble. Don't want to buy the shorter belt either lol.
yes the vacuum pump is deleted. I would just take it off and spend the extra bucks because they’re just problem waiting to happen
It's funny. I also have a 6.5 truck and a old ass XR. I have a '86 XR250 and a '96 K2500 Suburban. You have great taste! I have a couple vids of my truck posted. If you are still into 6.5 stuff check it out. High five!
Link to the turbo?
Was it a lot louder than stock
yes.
What are you running for a tune?
Was a heath tune
How much boost you running
15psi
Not much of an upgrade. 33gph is less than what the stock pump flows. You’d have better luck with a 75gph+ pump.
Doesn’t matter now. The motor cracked the block and i now have an LB7 sitting on a skid to go in lol
@@carterm8035 have fun lol. I’m a year and a half into swapping an LBZ
@@pacificdrumma I know, i’ve been watching haha
@@carterm8035 probably would have kept it a 6.5 if I was gonna do it again
How much louder is that exhaust than stock on that xr200r
2 times louder
If the pins lock into the ecm connector how did you get them out at the junk yard. I wanna do this to my 6.5.
There’s a small tab that has to be depressed with a fine pick tool, It’s on the side of the plug that goes into the ECM
How do you do a 95?
I believe it’s the same. as long as your PCM plug has the open spots you should be good to go

Same exact way I just did my 95 yesterday

Is this the same procedure on a 2nd gen Cummins? Hopefully there isn’t to much rust in the way.
