Austin ranks second in the nation for average education level. Texas rates second worst in the nation for average education level. Way to go, Austin! Imagine how utterly stupid TX would be without Austin.

Kevin and Jimmy sang so good together.
When I hear Junior play, it reminds me of the sound that was coming through the radio when I was a kid! It is almost like deja vu...Takes me back to another place and time. Like music is supposed to do!

On drums is that the only man to have a BBQ on a Wednesday? Tony Chernoble Churilla? EDIT: Guess it is. I thought they looked young...makes sense since this was almost 30 years old.
Aline, my "ahead of her time" sister turned me onto The Fabulous Thunderbirds in 1976 and when I heard they'd be gigging in Pittsburg in 1979, I drove there from Morgantown West Virginia with Ernie Hawkins who I was a sideman for, and I was so amazed by all of the band members! ~Trip

I remember the anger and complaints about residents homes getting flooded on Lake Travis. If you build in the flood pool of a lake below the spillway elevation you have no one to get mad at but yourself. There is no guarantee it wont fill up. That lake was built to hold back flood waters and it did it's job as designed.
