Upgrading My Compost Bins! - Backyard Projects Pt.4
Over the last week and a half I have been upgrading my compost system. I made two new bins to keep finished compost in, four new lids and a compost sifter. It was a lot of work and I am very glad to be done! If you made it to the end of the video thank you so much, if you did not that is also okay, this one was pretty long lol.

Mini Planter Made From Pallets! - Backyard Projects Pt.3
zhlédnutí 230Před 2 měsíci
Today I made a little raised planter that will eventually hold a massive sunflower and a bean plant. I used 100% reclaimed wood, most of it being from pallets and the rest was found from the curb on trash night. If you enjoyed the video and the finished product then please make sure to like and subscribe. Thanks for watching! :3
Garden Bench Made From Trash! - Backyard Projects Pt. 2

Today I made a bench for my garden entirely from scrap wood I found in the trash, from pallets, and in dumpsters. I think for my first piece of furniture it went pretty well! I hope you enjoyed, and if you did please make sure to like and subscribe, thank you!! :3

    I use a sawzall and just cut the nails behind the boards. It literally takes me less than 3 minutes to breakdown a pallet. Once the nails are cut the nail heads mostly fall out. So much faster and less work! Use a sawzall!!! If you don't have one you can get one at a pawn shop for around $25

      @tresopple Před měsícem

      @@dankehrig3419 I have done that a few times but I like to use the stringers/runners for projects so I try to get as many nails out as possible. 3 minutes to take apart a pallet sounds very tempting though so I may have to break out the sawzall lol

    Cool tool he got ahold of. If you can get good qaulity pallots same size you can use them to frame walls for a shed. I did. I stuffed instalation in between the slats as I built up so I could put a small ac unit in it. I used them for the floor and roof also.

    Where do you find pallet wood?

    • @tresopple
      @tresopple Před 2 měsíci

      There’s a couple ways. You can find them for free on Facebook marketplace, that’s like one of the main spots to get a bunch at once, and you can also find them just driving around the night before trash day, I found a few last night doing that. I also tend to find a good amount just in dumpsters behind like warehouse buildings
