I binge watched several videos on this channel yesterday, but this one was eye opening. To hear the honesty and how his heart changed was something I wish my ex could have. His secret life, lies and shame destroyed our marriage and is still continuing to destroy him. I would love to find a real man like Andrew., that has a real relationship with his Saviour and can admit, repent and go on to be a blessing. I have been a driver for Old Order Mennonites and Amish and have seen some problems there. There are other YT channels that have testimonies of ones who have been abused and left. I would love to be able to help in some way. There is a ministry in Ohio that helps people called Mission to Amish People. Blessings to you Nelson on your journey and Andrew and others that share their testimony.

Be careful about faith healing. Let's not forget that God's will is not always to heal people here on earth, sometimes it's through sickness that He calls His children Home. I absolutely believe that He can heal if He so chooses, but let's be careful to never put guilt on a sick person that they just need to have more faith to be healed. I have a chronic illness and have prayed fervently many times to be healed, but God has chosen not to. This is the path He has called me to walk and so I choose to submit to Him.

Just stumpled across your podcast, It has been such and encouragement to me!! ❤ I am and Over the road truck driver and listen to alot of podcasts and this 1 has been such a blessing just knowing that we have the same backgrounds, and seeing how God has delivered, saved, used,blessed people all for there good and his glory!!❤ And yes, Bringing Jesus to the work place is so important, When people see you be joyful through every situation you walk through that day, they will notice and they ask How Can you be so joyful right now? Opens up the opportunity to tell them about the good news of Jesus!! Keep doing what your doing.

As we face persecution we have to remember to not percacute the percacuter .As a young sister in christ ,i had to deal with that early on after i became a born again Christian .Iwas judged because i chose the path less traveled and decided to only wear dresses and skirts to church.Keep in mind that my family was never amish and mennonites.I actually had some one tell me that i was dressing to much like the mennonites

At 47 minutes you talk about chasing women. There is a danger there: if a man takes a girl's virginity, he is obligated to marry her (Ex. 22, Dt. 22); otherwise, he would leave her unchaste and unable to marry. At about 1 hour 16 minutes you mention guidance. A ring and a legal marriage can't justify a marriage to a woman who is not chaste: it would be fornication-marriage, still not accepted. See the top link on my channel, it explains this. Many churches today have unlearned and erring ministers that mislead others.
I can reflect on the wrecks, problems with the police, fines, jail and depression. Teens need someone to lift them up so they won't get into that kind of trouble -- it just brings loss: spiritual, physical, mental and economic -- no gain, only regret.

I'm glad you and Benji got saved. After salvation then what? I've been a believer for a long time now. I've studied with a great pastor-teacher. Tongues and a special word of knowledge ceased when the cannon was complete in AD96. Tongues was always a known language, not gibberish. Getting sound doctrine should be our top priority. We have better things. The baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs at the moment of salvation. The filling of the Spirit depends on the confession sin.

Why do a lot of Swartzentruber have bad teeth ?
Growing up that way we were never pushed to brush our teeth but ate a lot of sugar, it seems the mindset is not to take care of your teeth then once they're bad enough they pull them and get dentures.. It was actually odd for an older person to have their original teeth.
@@ShedHappens That is not good: Christians should take care of their bodies. Too much sugar is not good, it can cause diabetes sometimes. I eat fruit -- good sugar (fructose) when mixed with fiber (beans, for instance) during the same meal. People can make much better meals without sugar if they use fruit instead. Children are more valuable than to be used as work horses and without good health care. Their second teeth is very important. They need them for a life time to chew and digest the vegetables and foods. Most of all, salvation needs to be taught in the correct way: one way to God---------->Jesus, not horse and buggy tyranny. We can't earn our way to heaven through works. Jesus paid the price on the cross for all sin: past, present and future. Those who know him personally will not want to disappoint him, they will want to obey his commandments. I worked on a Amish farm up in Milton, Pa (I think it was) when I was young as a helper picking tomatoes and I lived not too far from Lancaster, Pa. My last church group that I was really close with were the Mennonites not too far from that area. I don't belong to any group any more and don't want to. I reproved them in writing and I don't know whether they excommunicated me or not and I don't care -- it would be their fault, not mine. However, I did notice not many that I expected to say Hi to me didn't. I don't live in that area anymore. I believe in the Scriptures and study them a lot. I don't need anyone but God and Jesus, my savoir. There is only one church -- the body of believers in Jesus Christ.

Wish more people watched your channel, love your content. My grandparents came from the Amish ( Tuscarawas Co OH) , my Grandma's sister was the last to remain Amish .
