Specialising in creating shampoos and personal care products for their customers DCS group have been able to reduce mixing times, eliminate aeration, create stable suspensions and emulsions, achieve high viscosity mixes and increase capacity to up to 800,000 kilos per week whilst using Silverson mixers.

What should I do to avoid lumping of cmc in liquid detergent production?

Is it necessary to add baking soda to carbopol for thickening, or is water alone sufficient?

It can also be dispersed into oils and solvents. It also depends on the grade of Carbopol you are using, while some grades display no significant increase in viscosity until neutralised, others start to thicken immediately.

Hello, there could be lots of reasons for this foaming, we manufacture the high shear mixers so we are unable to comment on the ingredients.
