    This clear explanation of the Frenzel has been a breakthrough for me! I've been freediving/snorkeling in the Caribbean for 3 months now, unable to equalise so only getting to about 6m. Watching this video has opened up a whole new world! Yesterday got to 11m! Thanks so much 👍🏼

      Super! It goes without saying that you should be freediving alone without knowing what you're doing. Learn the proper way and find an instructor who can really teach you. Then find yourself a competent buddy.

    My soft palate will not open! Where is the other video you mentioned about problems the soft palate? Thank You for this video. It is very good!!!

      Don't have one yet but what you can do is just relax and breathe in from your nose. The soft palet is open like this. Send your awareness to how it feels at the back. this is the posisiton it should be in.

      I understand that but it only happens when I’m head down. I can EQ just fine using the frenzel techniQue when my head is up! And yes im sure i am doing the frenzel method correctly. How can I make sure the soft palate opens with my body facing down? Any tips?

    Should my stomach mive while doing the T/H sound?

      All the movement comes from the throat. If your stomach is moving it means you’re pushing air from the lungs. You need to learn how to close the vocal folds / glottis.

    Are you a certified free diving instructor and, if yes, what agency do you use to certify your students?

    • @deepmedfreediving
      @deepmedfreediving Před rokem

      Yes I am, under Molchanovs. The agency is not important. It is the instructor and the pace at which the course runs. Make sure to take the time to repeat and learn the skills. In the end, it’s the time you put in which makes you a good freediver and not a piece of paper. If you want to know more about what I do, the check out my website in the description. All the best.

    • @BurhanMuntasser
      @BurhanMuntasser Před rokem

      @@deepmedfreediving That isn't the point. If I take a course with somebody, in addition to their being a good instructor, it is equally important that this instructor is "licensed" by an internationally recognized agency that has a proper curriculum, training material, standards, quality assurance, etc. to support their instructors and to ensure that the instructors are properly trained and following standards. I am a long time recreational and technical diving instructor and I am licenses/certified by several international agencies. At any rate, I am interested in doing free diving training with you. I'll have to communicate with you through your website when I am ready. Do you supply all equipment during training for the student or does the student have to buy everything prior to coming to class?

    • @deepmedfreediving
      @deepmedfreediving Před rokem

      I understand where you are coming from. My point was that there are thousands of ‘properly trained’ instructors who offer 2 or 3 day courses because this is the standard taken from the SCUBA diving industry. In reality, they are completely different. I make sure you take the time and do the skills properly rather than just check at boxes to certify. I used to do these 2 /3 day courses but changed my tactic when I started to develop myself more as an instructor. Unfortunately, instructor courses leave instructors with more questions than answers. Yes, all my courses come with equipment, certification, manuals, transport and I also include exploration sessions by sunset! Please head over to my website. All the information is clearly written over there. Www.deepmedcentre.com Hope to see you around Burhaneddin!

      @BurhanMuntasser Před rokem

      @@deepmedfreediving I agree and support your methodology. In fact, I do the same thing with my scuba training. I offer a lot more training than what the minimum standards specify with my agency. I look forward to joining your training program. I'll contact you soon. When do you start your training?
