We finally made the trip to Twin Mountains and it did nit disappoint!!!
We went back to Wolf Pen Gap! Trails were beautiful!

We went back to Mena AR to see the attractions and good locations after a couple years. Sadly many of them have changed a lot or are gone.

We attended the Crossbar Ranch Hoedown and Tanner decided to race the KRX against a stacked field of rides and got 5th place out of 14 racers.

In one year they made the pro r and turbo into the jackal in hide KRX . They did that by being good, not bitches.
That polaris rocked that/ funny others say not.

this kit comes with the harness?
Yes if you buy the stage 3 kit from Polaris or a local dealer it will come with everything needed to install and function.
I guess no one has told that a 1000 xp has a reverse chain and it will easily break doing things like that.
It hasn’t so far and he has climbed those backwards and screen door at crossbar backwards. Time will tell.

Nice video. I was out there 4 years ago and the scenery is amazing. Can you attest to the width gates they supposedly put in? I would go back but not sure about fitting through any gates. I am portaled and wide
They do have some areas that have poles for width but you can go around. The turbo r is right at 75 wide and I can fit everywhere we went.

What size tires do you have?
The rzr xp1000 had 32s on it. Can fit 35s with forward a-arms
Krx crawl is the best, all I heard was rzr belts squealing and x3 diffs struggling to engage correctly
put a sand craft bomb proof kit in it and never worry about it again

What all did it do to the krx diff
When the KRX diff broke, the locker broke and busted the case. Needed a full replacement.

We don’t have anything planned yet. Want to try Twin Mountains or go back to Hot Springs. The KRX is a beast. We knew it would be a competitor!

My HD extreme ring and sprague lasted 3 hours. I just swapped to a torq spool
Mine held up for a good weekend at crossbar for the hoedown. We did have to pull it a couple extra times because the machine tolerances were too tight for the springs. Other than that it is good so far. I have used HD extreme for a long time with great results but not real happy this last purchase. Where did you get the spool from?
@@XpensiveDecisions Torqmaster for the spool, I got cryo heat treated and micro polished ring gear and pinion, Skf bearings, and 80w90 gear oil.

The amp is built into the sub box. It’s a full plug and play set up.

I have two plugs on my turbo r next to the cargo and cage. Would these be for pods? Came from the factory. Thanks
I am not sure. I don’t remember extra plugs on ours. Do you have the tweeters?
@@XpensiveDecisions yes I have 2 speakers under the dash and 2 twitters it came factory. Bought the ultimate. 2 wire plugs on each side of the cage near cargo. Not very long thoufh

So based on what you know so far for the type of riding we all Do… PRO XP 35 zillas and 4” portals or Turbo R 35 zillas?
Hard to say really, pro xp with portals would give you gear reduction and clearance for 35s. But the turbo r has better suspension components for strength. I am not a huge portal fan, just another wear point and service.

I can relate to this a lot however i just have my turbo r 4 ultimate for the wife and kids to ride but i have mine sway bars unhooked and on beadlocks with 35s and it is usually in comfort mode runing about 8 psi we ride similar trails but also ride at the coast as well and everywhere. Never broke anything on this machine but i also learned how not to drive with one that would break an axle if you turned your head too fast lol finally upgraded and the turbo r is taking the abuse like a champ
They are good machines. We have been very pleased with them.

L&W has a good looking high clearance trailing arm out now.
Yes they do. We have looked at them as an option. Plus they are less expensive than HCR.
Im curious about the difference between the 2 of them i know L&W makes nice stuff ran it for years on several machines hcr is more ligbtweight lets go race desert kinda stuff.
@@coketrain4755 I have seen the L&W in person and they look like they would be great for rock crawling. I am not pleased with the HCR for what they charge.
