Comercial Electrician Tool Load Out!!!!! (Building a community)

Ive created this channel to hopefully help ppl specifically in the electrical field. I am by no means an expert and have lots of Learning to do. I am going to post relevant on the job situations with examples and what material is called. Information i wish was on CZcams back when i first got into the trade (2016) Feel free to critique what i say or correct me.
Hey man before union what commercial companies were you at?
Great video man tomorrow is my first day for commercial / industrial work !
Thanks for sharing
bro i can hear your uvula
Kind of a late comment, but what’s your pay scale? I’m an automotive technician and I really don’t like the pay and the insane tool investment, and especially the pay advancement. My industry tops out at like $27-$30 an hour and you gotta be GOOD to hit those numbers.
JOIN THE UNION. EVERYONE JOIN UNIONS.... UNION
you should be referring to drawings for mounting heights
I’m planning to become and electrician. Any tips??
I see you 209
24” wide studs is crazy. Definitely not allowed here. Either that, or just not done. I don’t actually don’t know the building code at all lol but I only ever encounter 16” distance studs
I would suggest a packout crate to work out of instead of opening up the lid to the bottom stack everytime
Just a tip add low volume music in the background👍 your mic is so good it deserves it
So why isn't the conduit being used as a ground when ommercial plugs self ground on to metal boxes?
I call BS on the power and data being consistently on a Left/Right. The data is a conduit. It need to run close to the stud so you can use stud-to-conduit supports. No one will ever notice which side your data and power is on. Time is of the essence. We don't want to be putting offsets in our 1'' data drops.
Very nice my friend Good continue
Very nice 👌
finally, what ive been looking for. this should be having millions of views.
What happened to the videos?
easy day in the life... u aint rly doing shit lol
I’m laying endless conduits in the hot sun with no shade. This blows d$ck… is there a light at the end of this hellhole or is this all there is?
I’m sorry if I sound naive or ignorant, but what’s the difference between a wireman and an electrician? Or are they terms used synonymously? Very interesting videos, thank you!
👍👍👍
Your company doesnt gives you a cart to roll your stuff?
why are the covers upside down? or was I taught just differently
Hi! Do we have to use 4x4 two gang on single receptacle instead of 2x4 one gang? Thanks!
Looks like great work, I’m a residential electrician and commercial work was just never really for me, watching these is interesting to me because it’s so different from the work I do
Have you become a journeyman yet?
Got certified 2020. Now I joined the union in 2023
The bushing for the mc we call it red heads
Donde compraste tu chaleco bro
What do you record on ? A go pro or a phone ? Do you have a strap on your hard hat?
how do they expect us to feed ourselves & make money, pay bills, when we’re out of work for 2 months
great video, but your fly was down
This is what I wanna see when I search electrician commercial actual work
What's the height do you use for receptacles and switches on this commercial applications
I just call it a sliding bracket lol
This is the best video in you tube., please make more video like this, thank God I found this video!!!!!!
Y'all will come to a residential company and realize you don't know shittt. It was surprising at first when the commercial guy says 6 years experience.
I’m also in the Bay Area and interested in become an Electrician apprentice, How can I find a Electrician Apperentiship in the Bay Area ?
good job ,,but to slow .
God sometimes I really miss working electrical.
Taking to long to put in box and bracket, also use a cart. And never be on your knees without knee pad. Must be non union
I wish you success in your work
This kind of job is a lot of fun if you like producing with your hands but in the middle of the winter around cold steel, temperatures can drop to -10 depending on region. Use a towel on your shoulder before moving strut and conduit against your neck at that temperature so you last longer. I feel I should also say that during my time, we were not allowed to wear masks without everyone having to have to wear a mask so we weren't allowed to wear masks. My voice got so gruff sometimes I called everyone I knew and they didn't believe it was me because I sounded like a cement mixer hahaha. The crew though it was funny as well. It eventually went away but I have the worst skin irritation to this day, psoriasis now. I can't do this kind of job anymore but I still have dreams I'm doing it I worked so much lmao. They even told me I had a competitive amount of accumulated hours towards early graduation before I got sick. Apprentices life, %110 until you see it on the back of your eyelids :)
I am confused on the mask part. Do you mean a respirator? What made your voice so gruff exactly?
I was in the union for electrician last two years! Trying so hard to get in! I finally get in! Great! I was for 8 months doing nothing! Showing up to class zzz none of the guys never showed me how to do any of this kinda work! I be sitting in my car waiting for delivers to come! My pay check we’re only 200-300! Guys be yelling at me! Getting into heated arguments! Terrible supervisor I had! Worse coworkers I ever worked with! Other companies got great training they were happy! I was in complete miserable company dint care! I was like f this! Wearing freaking mask on job site 🤬
just asking why not go around marking every stud where the box should land then land the box easier ??
Fuck yes dude so glad I found this. Been doing electrical for 5 years now and I always thought about doing POV videos myself because I think people would be more open minded in joint a trade when they see how fun your work really is. Hope you’re doing good brother.
I was convinced trades were terrible 10 years ago went to college joined the corporate world when I want to work with my hands. Hoping I can join you guys soon I have my tests and interview in a month!
You ever going to make more videos?
Soon
Love the video man! I’m late but keep up the work I’m looking to get into the trade as well along with I’m sure many viewers thank you man!
Started in the trade as a mechanical/electrical assembler in Germany and got two years of experience working there. Moved to canada two years ago and started an apprenticeship in resi. Currently doing the technical term and was considering the switch. Would you recommend staying in resi despite knowing pretty much everything including most of the code related stuff, or dare the switch to commercial? I kind of want to have resi, commercial and industrial under the belt before getting my ticket so im a little confused as to what i should do.
Won't hurt to know a little of every thing never. Know where you'll end up
@@johnkulpowich5260 i appreciate the input. If i ever went ahead with my own business it for sure would be residential. But i plan to pursue not having that much stress and that kind of got me torn around and thinking of going commercial for a portion of my training
@@alikilicaslan6045 you think working in people homes has less stress. Boy are you in for a big surprise
@@johnkulpowich5260 I meant stress in a way for pursuing your own business. It’s granted that industrial or commercial both are worse on the project managers or company owners to an extent.
Took a job for electrician apprentice excited to get into it. Really enjoyed this video 👍
How is it going so far?
