The hard part when working alone is installing the disposal mount retainer ring.

Why would you make this video and not show the replacement of the spring and rubber seat in the cartridge style stems? I replaced my stems and did not know about replacing the seat and spring. I had water coming out of the shower head that wouldn’t shut off. Had a plumber come out and said I selected the right stems and had put them in correctly but I had to replace the rubber seat and springs, which were worn out and needed to be replaced…You guys really need to redo this instruction video.

I bought it for a wk and the handle is already broken. What a waste of money.

Helpful video, next time use an older dirtier drain to show the challenges someone may face. Those are not a pipe wrench but large channel lock pliers, please name tools properly for those who may need the help

What if I can't get the original screw out of the original handle?

I did it before, it was pretty easy, trying again and I forgot how the valve comes out, I removed the snap ring but can't get the valve out, Trying with needle nose, can't get it, i don't want to mess it up, might have to call the plumber, I hate to because I know it doesn't cost much$ if I do it myself.

Good luck as far is leaking is concerned! That seal looks to me like the traditional wax ring and rubber seal combined ,looks like a beautiful compromise!

I can't get the piece to push in and pop off to even get into it. smh I tried WD-40 and tried vinegar but no luck. Maybe its build up on the inside. Any suggestions?

I have a rubber gasket in place of the plummer putty I’m guessing? I accidentally pulled it out a little. Is the putty better or should I stay with a rubber gasket?

What a joke. Incomplete instructions. The center screw has to be tightened down to the valve stem first. The only benifit to this vid is that it only takes 31 seconds to watch.

First time diy'er here just finished install today no leaks so far! I didnt need the blue rubber extension piece and had to remove black plastic insert after toilet wouldn't sit flush on floor. Only complaint would be is the bolts are narrower than old bolts guess i couldve just used those instead. So far very happy with this kit.

You really need a larger amount of plumber putty than what you showed. Usually about the diameter of a dime. Yeah, you'll have some extra to clean up after the install, but better to have more, than not enough. Keeps you from having to redo the entire job again if/when it leaks

The 3 O-ring set are "not" all the same sizes. Do them one at a time starting at the bottom as they will get into to the other grooves & makes it harder to do & hopefully keep them in order. So if you take out all 3 at once how do you know which ones go where?
