Working on improving my guitar playing. Started trying to sing while playing on Nov 10, 2020 thanks to some prompting by my guitar teacher Sammy Duke. I've been taking weekly lessons with Sammy since Sep 2019 and he's really been helping me with music/guitar theory, as well as learning the various scales and modes, arpeggios, and all kinds of chords I hadn't worked on before, like 6th, 9th and 11th chords, as well as using the 5th or 4th string as the root, using triads, etc. I had previously taken weekly guitar lessons from Stephen Helmer from Jan 2017 until Aug 2018, and only stopped as he relocated to another city. Stephen started me down the path of the various modes and scales, as well as improving my barre chords, and having me work on 7th chords. Between Aug 2018 to Sep 2019 I did not take any lessons. I started guitar in high school, but neglected it after graduating.
One of these days I'll be really good, but to get there I have a lot more work to do. Cheers and Rock On!

When I was first learning to play this song I was using an old Dunlop capo from the 1980's, and I'd literally have to tune my guitar after I put on the capo, and again after I took it off. I'm now using a Paige capo, and it is a night and day difference. So glad that I got the new Paige capo as a gift as it works great, but hard to justify buying a capo for 1 song. I'll definitely be looking for more songs to use it with as I expand my song repertoire.
