I have the movikon 8, 8B, & regular movikon, along with the Yashica 8 and some others. Out of all them I perfer the movikon 8 the best. I feel it really performs the best out of all them. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day.

That large mullet use to be a prime food source for the ospreys we don't see on the pond side anymore...so sad.

Bob, thanks for sharing the duck you ask to identify is a Fulvous Whistling-Duck. It should not be in SC. BTW the other duck in the picture is a Black-bellied Whistling-Duck. Where this two species occur together they are sometimes in mixed flocks.
Thank you, Gustavo. These ducks are in Brookgreen Gardens zoo area. They are beautiful to look at. Like the Sandhill crane, not common to our area. It's from Florida. It must like it here since it hasn't flown off.

damnnnnn those cold shoes on top.. that's big! Can just use a regular light meter, or rangefinder, or flood light, or.. I mean anything you want. Can this use a strobe light even?
When im out doors I dont use use any light panel or flash. Ive just recently use the CN-160 Led Vieo lighting light panel. It was recommened by the Film photography project guys for shooting indoor film in low light. The panel fits on the cold shoe with no problems. Any flash or strobe will fit the cold shoe, but not sure how it would sink since these cameras are from the 50's and have no conection. I used the light pannel at my daughters house filming her baby, my first grandson. I just sent the film out for developememnt and wont get it back for 4-6 weeks. I (HOPE) it turned out. Unlike video today where you see it instantly. Its a wait and see game, but more expensive if it dont turn out. Like in the old days but cheaper than. LOL. Wonderfull job, you got lucky with the weather this time of year although I'm sure it was cold. I like it when the train stopped I guess to make sure it wasn't going to run you over while you were filming. I assume those trains are just used for short runs for tourists? Looks like a lot of fun, it was great you could sneak away long enough to get these images and video of a place you enjoy so much.
