Victor Harbor Hipcamp | Cooinda Retreats
zhlédnutí 184Před 2 měsíci
Cooinda Retreats is a Hipcamp with 9 campsites and also provides group accomodation in a lodge setting. It’s located just on the outskirts of avictor Harbor, set high up on the hill. Although the camp sites themselves were pretty small they were large enough to fit our 21’ caravan with the awning out and our car parked sideways across the front of the site but we were very close to the next sit...
Kingston SE RV Park | Our Review
zhlédnutí 315Před 3 měsíci
Kingston RV Park on South Australia’s Limestone Coast is a credit to the Kingston SE council. Upon arrival there is a water fill up point at the entrance with plenty of parking for big rigs. After filling up our tanks we went in and found ourselves a site - it was pretty busy but we had no trouble getting in. This was a great low cost base to explore Robe and the surrounds. The sites are all ve...
Southend Bush Camp | Beach camping with dogs & fires
zhlédnutí 559Před 3 měsíci
Southend Bush Camp is an absolute gem tucked behind the sand dunes on South Australias Limestone Coast. The sites are all very generous and we would have had no trouble fitting our big rig on to any of them. There are flushing toilets, a cold water shower and fires are allowed in designated firepits (byo firewood). And best of all it’s dog friendly. There’s direct beach access and what a lovely...

Fitzroy River Reserve | Low cost camping
zhlédnutí 228Před 3 měsíci
We have driven past the turn off to this camp many times over the years and never driven in - what a shame! Fitzroy River Reserve at Tyrendarra is a great campground. It’s an easy drive off the highway and the camp sites are large -you find your own spot after checking in with the caretaker. Fires are allowed in fire pits which are available for hire and you can purchase firewood. There are dro...
Hipcamp 10 Minutes from Melbourne | Our Review of Secret Garden
zhlédnutí 96Před 4 měsíci
Secret Garden is exactly that. When you enter this property and make your way towards the camp you would never imagine the oasis you are about to find at the end of the track. The track in was unexpectedly challenging and we were glad with a heave 21’ caravan on the back that we had 4WD but once we got to the site it was ell worth the stress. There is a gazebo with table, chairs, fire bins and ...
How to plan & book your Ningaloo Coast trip | We wish we’d known this!
zhlédnutí 142Před 4 měsíci
When we left home the Ningaloo Coast was at the top of our bucket list. We’ve done it before - 10 years ago - when you didn’t need to book anything. But the world has changed and so have the Parks WA system. This was really overwhelming. knowing you can’t book until 180 days in advance was both terrifying and paralysing - I just had no idea how to navigate it and bring multiple campsites, durat...
George Bass Coastal Walk | Dog Friendly Trail
zhlédnutí 34Před 4 měsíci
This is a great trail - traversing the Bass Coast cliff tops there are great views across to Phillip Island and further East along the coastline. It’s dog friendly and is accessed from San Remo. You can find the trail on AllTrails - it’s moderately difficult - I did the 7.7km in and out trail from Punchbowl to Shelley Beach but you can extend further if you want. Theres not many nature walks th...

Great episode... Great Location.... Hic!!!
Thanks ... it was alot of fun to do!
Would love to see a rig rundown vid!
Nice video guys. Used to to go to Rapid Bay around 6 times a year back in the days when I lived in Adelaide. Great spot! Was really nice of Sue and Derek to lend you the tinnie. So much to see around the cliffs from the water.
It was so nice of them - they’re lovely people. And it was a great experience seeing it from that angle- it’s made us want to buy a boat now!
Can swim here or water very cold ?
Definitely swimmable when we were there in February
You should come back in the winter and see those beautiful green rolling hills that alone is worth another trip. Enjoy.
We said the same thing - it would be stunning. Maybe next year!
Love this @LeePerryman ❤ Love the views, short coverage of places. Loved the water & beach & squid catching. Can’t wait for more …… I also can’t wait to go there!
It’s so worth it! You guys will love it.
Beautiful spot, awesome drone footage!

Woo hoo!!!! Thank you!
Noice - Subscribed - Bit expensive for no power, portaloos, small sites.... Poer Elliot Showgrounds just down the road... noice place.
We agree with your comments - Port Elliot is gorgeous and would be on our list for a future stay
Noice run down - bit expensive...
Beautiful home 😊 we live in QLD, and are yet to visit Victoria, but one day ❤ new subscribers
Love this ❤
We’re from SA but never stayed there. Definitely adding to our list. Thanks for sharing, looks like a great spot.
You should!
Great people there!
Great video guys! Soo much information! We loved Southend too! 🤙🏻🤙🏻

I see cann river has changed a bit since I was there 12 years ago.
Sadly it doesn’t look like it is thriving. I feel for towns that just aren’t getting enough business to keep going.
There’s like a solid meter of clearance on either side. Well designed
Where is place at it looks familiar
Bundaberg that one!
So many things that are easily confused. The adaptor doesn't change the amps to 15a from 10a, it just changes the plug size (and adds the mandatory 10a overcurrent protection) so you can only draw 240v 10a maximum. Your inverter taking 32amps from the battery (at 12v) means it's sending 32 * 12/240= 1.6amps at 240v. Yes, using spare battery capacity of the tow vehicle to power the caravan is a good idea, just don't get confused by the magic numbers game.
