Really enjoyed this and never saw this version of War of the Worlds! I read the book some time ago and it was eerie and fascinating. Films are a perfect comfort blanket for grief and focusing on what brings us joy gives us the the power needed to get through the darkest moments and days 💓💓💓xxxx

Back in December of 2011, I went to Hollywood to watch this movie on the big screen. A digital version. The event was sponsored and directed by the Academy of Arts and Sciences. At the event was Frank Capra’s grandson. He sat on stage sharing a story when he was with FC in his office, on the phone with James Stewart. James said over the phone, how this film was cheesy. He was reluctant at first to star in this film. Also at the event, held at a studio owned and operated screening room -once utilized for producers. There were two towering size Oscar’s on display. Some movie props and set fans used to blow the snow were on exhibit. Met some interesting people in the film industry. Several celebrities were at the event. I’m not one to get star struck so I didn’t pay attention to them. After the event I went to dinner with a guy I met at the event who does animated voice acting. Watching the movie with Frank Capra III several rows ahead of me felt special.

This was fun to listen to. I wasn’t sure if it was a movie I wanted to see, until I heard this. Now I have to see the full movie, it sounds great. Thanks 👍🏻

It's hard to appreciate the soundtrack unless you've seen this it in the theatre. That main tile sequence pushes you back into your seat.

What’s amazing is the resurgence of the game cyberpunk 2077 that was notorious of its buggy launch. Unlike halo and resident evil 😂 cyberpunk gave good fan service of the game while having a good story. Arcane, castlevania and now cyberpunk 2077 are good representation of how to make a great adaption show from a video game.

As much as I love this song, it's one of the most over played songs ever. I'd always thought they'd just got out of prison or the it was like a seasonal thing like Quadrophenia. I also think the lady's mentioned are separate.
