Why too bad? I had the original radio and a factory set of wheels, I just liked those better. And that was a factory sunroof, not aftermarket.

This car doesn’t have cats and had just run a few minutes prior. I shut it off to pull my truck out of the garage, then set up the camera for this shot.

@@ct87gn25 yeah, most cars I’ve seen have been hard tops. I figured you didn’t see many anymore because the drains would clog and they’d rust. Good info tho.

Gauges are all factory. To swap them you’d need to change your sensors and the gauge package itself.

They’re all basically the same thing. The GP didn’t have the larger production runs of a special version like the 442, MCSS, or GN with the 2+2 (which I find ugly anyways) but it’s the same as the regular Monte, Cutlass and Regal otherwise. All of them have very slight differences, I just prefer the GP over the rest.

I do not. They were the wire wheel style hubcaps, and I have always hated that style. I traded them to a friend for his daughter’s car in exchange for a set of the Rallye II that came on these cars. If I ever go back to a stock look, I’ll clean those up and run them.

It was supposed to be. We found even more rust than I anticipated and funds got tight. Just couldn’t justify keeping her, so I sold off what I could and will just focus on my gold one.

When I bought the car it had the steel wheels with wire wheel hubcaps, these were the first set I could find. I think you are the first person who doesn’t like the polished aluminum, personally I love them. I do not like the upkeep required to keep them looking nice tho…

Yeah....IMO... I prefer to see mags on muscle cars... they're nice though....

@@SP-wg6uo mags refers to magnesium wheels, these are polished aluminum, not mags. With the motor swap I have planned, they will fit better.

Oh o.k. thanks.... I'd always figured it meant the style....of rims.... I'd had 4 straight laced tru-spoked rims when I'd had my 81' Buick regal back in 88'....which was in excellent condish. White w/ blue interior .. after awhile the rims began to peel....so would that've been aluminum dipped?,...

@@Chicago_Cars yep, I think some Pontiac cars came with olds 307’s in them, I know the olds 350 diesel was a option for the Grand Prix in the 80’s

@@mc83ssls1 I’m no expert but I haven’t heard of any, they either has a Pontiac or (in later years like mine) Chevy. Could be wrong tho.

I like if they fit the vehicle. If this had rolled in on 22s and a loud bumping stereo I wouldn’t have liked it as much.

Nope, oil. Didn’t film but the oil pan gasket is leaking. Tightened up a couple bolts and it seems like it’s good now.
