A very different kind of spring concert. Our elementary school did a "Rhythm Ostinato" a melody that is repeated over with slight variations throughout the piece. This concert was the culmination of five years of work with their music teacher, and the piece itself was written by the students in this fourth grade class. The school band consists of steel pans, keyboards, xylophones, metallophones...

Was this the entire 4th grade or just a selection of kids from the grade? I would like to do something like this for my 4th graders but I have too many to try and put them all in one performance.

i cant wait to get my middle school choir performance on here. we have 7th and 8th graders in it only so we do kind of sound more mature (mostly the guys). but this is cute to. not really how we learned it but this is, again, very cute... SMILE!
