The Mormon church did not specifically call out MDMA as I have heard. But they do counsel away illegal drugs...which is good advice. There are other ways to achieve neuroplasticity than MDMA or other psychedelics

Dr Robert Gilbert released some videos of interviews he did with a DMT researcher. He heads the Vesica institute and has a set of teachings around the "planes of nature". This set of levels being opened up to test scientifically and the capability to learn about the specific benefits and drawbacks in real time on these levels or planes will be very valuable moving forward. I enjoy the show and recommend Dr Robert Gilbert for the show:) Keep up the good work. 👍

Great talk. I LOVED Rick's insights on this being a 1500 year journey to bring psychedelics back to society, not just a half-century climbing back from the psychedelic 60's. That this is a monumental raising of human consciousness and why it is profoundly important to get this right!

Thank you Dr. Christie for these videos. As someone currently navigating a career switch into this fascinating field, the amount of psychedelic facilitation courses available is overwhelming. Like you said, there aren’t regulatory standards for this type of therapy. And so there are lots of differences in the information being offered. Some courses are well-structured and delivered by experts in the field, and others leave much to be desired. I hope in the near future a standardized framework can be developed for these therapies which is not only safe and effective, but like you mentioned, inclusive and aligned with human wellbeing and flourishing. For anyone interested, I am currently enrolled in Cybin’s EMBARK program. But I would encourage anyone interested in psychedelic facilitation to explore and engage in other programs to see what best aligns with them and their goals.

What… I heard that phrase “feel it to heal it” and see it to free it just recently. Like in the last week. And I have come along a journey to get here because of the fact that I met another soul who reflected back parts of me I didn’t want to see and brought negative subconscious thoughts of self worth to light. The twin flame journey Psychedelic experience has been part of my journey even before meeting her. I have used mushrooms as a tool to dive deep into introspective work for years but until recently I haven’t been able to tap into some of this stuff. I believe my soul led me to mushrooms in the first place but now I just know I have some sort of purpose to do with them. I come from a home with exuberant amounts of complex trauma and working through that even without psychedelics has taught me a lot and I understand it in a way that so many people just can’t. I’m starting to think part of my journey is to become some sort of psychotherapist to help others heal alongside me. I have a lot of experience with both complex trauma and psilocybin especially for someone at 25. It just feels right. I just hope I can find a mentor

  • @russgrimes5531

I was just thinking this. I don’t have much experience with therapy and I don’t know much about that world and I don’t have any psychology education But I do have experience with working through complex trauma from childhood and understanding how it can impact an adult in daily life. And I have a lot of experience with psilocybin. I’m just entertaining the idea that psychotherapy is meant for me and if I can find my way into doing this work, I think I could make an impact.
