what people dont realize is that those "GT1" cars are purpose built Prototypes, the manufactures just bent the rules a bit to make them part of the GT1 class, FIA didnt tell them how big the luggage space had to be, just had to have one for example.

The last time I saw this was when I was seven in 1997. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I'm so thankful that I have extremely good memory.

Especially, in 1990 as he later admitted that he did it on purpose. He should have been penalised for that......Plus, in 1990 you have Mansell moaning about his inferior car compared to Prost's. Prost was just superior and Nigel was looking for excuses. He also behaved very badly in the race start in Portugal, ruining Prost's race and taking him out of the title contention.

I love old cars and think (looking back nostalgically) they are always better looking than newer cars. Except.... the mid-80s. These cars are hideous and utterly forgettable. The Jag is okay and the TVR maybe but it still looks so... 80s. I guess the new AC Ace never made it to market?

Tremendous Gem mate, i watched all the oficcial FIA rewiews of 80"s and 90"s but never this one with Ayrton"s conclusions in 1990 remembering all the events of the season. I enjoyed every second of it, Did Eurosport record some similar program like this one of the duel with Mansell in 91?. Because if that is the case i would like to see that too. Many thanks for bring this to youtube😊
