What does 361kwh means on the display? I pressed it for 5 seconds and it changed to 0. Is it ok to leave it 0?

You did not point out that this device is an ancient design that is a PITA to use. That whole business with downloading the file... and having to do i every 4 months before the data disappears? C'mon. Why cant it be easily connected to my network, like an IOT device? It's just ancient, and you should not give it a free pass for that.

Hey Adam. Got a friend with 5 tracers and he wants to monitor solar. I know I could use the parallel adapter and pc app, but he wanted to use the android app. Eleven said there is a 1M6S for connecting multiple mppt’s to a single WiFi adapter but cannot find it anywhere. Are you aware of a way to it? Thanks. Mark

Im a little late to the party here, but i got a few B10k potentiometers - but the reading goes all the way to 4095, and even starts reading values from the other potentiometers if i turn it colpmetely. What am i doing wrong?

Also if your aim was garden light. I think a bit of diffusing layer from say a TV backlight inside of that clear plastic would help spread the light out more. I'll see if I can find one of those boxes. Seems handy. I would of put the panel inside of it

Thank you for mentioning the diode in the IC. That was my main problem when I first found a broken garden light on the side of the road. Since I just want them to charge my nimh cells. Is there a problem leaving the load disconnected? I just have it floating on the recent garden panel I found. It has a 5252F IC which is pretty similar.

I did notice its easy to put a battey in the wrong way around, but with 12v it doesn't matter as much because it just doesn't work, so a short circuit owuld just make the 12v into 7.4v??

interesting, i have an 18v /25w solar panel, so the smaller mppt board would put out the required 12.6v to charge the 3s battery pack?, or would i still need a 3s bms board too? thanks . i just want to be sure as i have had a fire with a 3s before lol....

Hey mate, i have this MTTP charger currently hooked up to 3x85ah lead acid batteries but considering upgrading to 1x 120ah lithium battery. Will this controller still safely and efficiently charge a 120ah lithium battery? thanks

Nice to see them open, i learned about that only a year ago or so; I could not find DC ones so been using 2 AC breakers,25 Amp each, for a year now on my 60 VDC solar system, up to 32 Amps; i switch them off manually, only, sometimes several times a day ; it's impossible for the current to go over 32 amps, that is the MAX, so it's not expected that they trip on their own, ever, that is not why they are there; they are there because i need to manually disconect them ( solar panels from the MPPT/batteries ) when i need to adjust the MPPT voltages; this seldom happens; i expected them to not last, but they still work perfectly; cost me 2 or 3 euros each; i use 2 of them, 25A each, in parallel; amazingly they never burned and still worl fine; they are in a place that if they start smoking, or on fire, it does not matter, nothing to burn nearby; i would not do it, otherwise.

so in 5min it says LI battery equalization is --- and time ---, but agm batteries dont need equalization but they are charged like sealed, so can agm battery charged like gel or li but with 14.6V boost voltage

Did you know it's now compatible with EPR (Extended Power Range)? So 140 W at 28 V with the proper power supply. Nobody needs that kind of power, really......but it's cool

Any clue what all three leds strobing across means? I had one working fine and now the leds strobe across. I thought maybe the thing got wet, so I bought the bigger 5a/10a version and it does the same thing.

Any clue what would cause the leds to strobe? I had one hooked up working fine and now it strobes all three leds alternately. I ordered a 5a/10a version and same result when I hook it up. It works fine on another controller.

I used a YX8018 same circuit but different pin out. I replaced the LED with a regular diode and a 20uF capacitor which developed 10 Volts DC with very low power.

Actually this circuit should work. i once did it for a project a while ago u just have to use a pull up resitor of lower value like 1k or maybe lesser i actually used 1k and it worked fine. BUT interestingly the same circuit on bread board woks just fine even with 1M pull up resitors idk why. STOP BUYING MOTOR DRIVERS GUYS THIS CIRCUIT WOULD COST LOT LESS AND MORE TO LEARN
