Honestly, it’s so refreshing to see videos like this once in a while- It’s so hard to save, especially when buying manga is so addictive and definitely not cheap- i’m so proud of you for doing amazingly with your buying ban and saving (this is a reality check that i need to start saving more and thank you again for another enjoyable video)

Such a fun video! I love stats! I do what I read of the ones I buy each year, how many I bought by each publisher, how many I bought new or used. Yea I was stupid and put a lot of manga on credit cards in 2020 and I am still paying those off. We live and we learn! ❤❤❤ I have so many unread as well. I been reading a lot more lately. I noticed if I make a TBR and get the books out I read those and read more. Good luck with the move!

I admire your courage to share your spending from last year because when I saw how much I spent at the end of year I was absolutely horrified that I spent so much and told myself I wouldn’t tell ANYONE publicly how much I spent! 🙈 This year I told myself never again and have tried to be much more diligent and so far it’s been better this last year! I agree that while I deeply love being a MangaTuber, it is SO easy to spiral in buying so much because of seeing what everyone is recommending! Congrats on meeting your saving goals and successfully doing a manga ban!!

I collectfigures but i dont have a ton of nendos.I have: chi from chobits, ai from hell girl, sadako from the ring, power and denjji from chainsaw man, morgana from persona 5, marin + shizuku from my dress up darling, Marnie from pokemon and kirby the 50th anniversary one. (i do have 3 others but i'm selling them because i never unboxed them)

My first nendoroid is Noah Wyknight from "Why Raeliana Ended Up at The Duke's Mansion". I have a few more on pre order... Jinshi from "Apothecary Diaries" Takumi Usui from "Maid-Sama!" Stark from "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End." Glad they made both MCs from "My Happy Marriage." Sadly they tend to make only 1/2 of the couples in Nendoroid figures 😢

Okay, as a Anime Figure collector (i do video for that here) here who also collects Manga, let me say you just jumped into a even much more expensive hobby than you are in already! 😅 Especially, collecting Figures can get out of hand really quickly, as you're already telling XDD But be careful, collecting nendo's is just the start, then you start collecting prize Figures, than scale Figures... and then you buy those really, really 1/4 scales that will punch a hole into your budget really quick.🤭 And then you realise you don't actually want half of what you collected and then the selling starts... so I would recommend to really think about whether you really, really, want this figure or not, just as a advice. Btw, they only starting making shojo and older series nendos recently, so you not really missed out on that. ^^ And just to inform you, they don't really do Shojo Figures much... just a few selected ones and when they do it they usually only do the main couple. And the most annoying part is that they tend to only do the male character first and then let him sit alone for a few years before they announce the female....if they do her at all...soo
