There's no such thing as ghosts. Any danger to anyone staying in the castle, other than the building falling apart, comes from intruding humans getting into the castle from unsecured points of egress.

First time this channel came up in my feed and I'm absolutely delighted. The stories are so wonderfully creepy and the way they are told, is perfect the lovely sound of the Scottish way of speaking, no dramatic background music that makes actually hearing the story very difficult - this storytelling is simply perfect for me. I love it, subscribed and clicked the bell with a big smile on my face. Thank you for making these videos for us, I'm going to check on your playlist. Best wishes from the Highlands of Bavaria (alpine region) 🙋🏻‍♀️ Slàinte mhath

Had a creepy experience here years ago when I was a child of 11 my brother was14, we were in a bedroom on the bedside table was an old fashioned pen, my brother picked it up and was looking at it, there was a blind up at the small window which suddenly started flapping up and down, we ran for it down that stone spiral staircase until we ran outside into the court yard.

Macbeth killed High King Duncan in Battle near Elgin in August 14 1040. Mac Bethad mac Findlaich (Macbeth) Was the Mormaer (sub king) of Moray. High King Duncan was a weak king and caused many problems. In What was called Scotland at the time King of Scots and Picts..was north of the Clyde/Forth line. Al Clut (Strathclyde) was a separate Kingdom an ancient Britons Kingdom based at DunBarton (Fortress of the Britons) Lothian was under the control of the Anglian Peoples of Northumbria. Read up on the true History not the propaganda from 500 plus years later in Tudor Englands Plays. The High Kings of Scots and PICTLAND were voted in by the Mormaers the regional Sub kings to the position of High King. It was the Pictish way of the linage of the female line. There were two main branches as far as I have read of the Scottish Royal line. High King Macbeth was a good a just king who traveled to Rome. He was not a corrupt High King or Mormaer.

The event that served as a loose inspiration for Robert Eggers 2019 film, which is more of a psychological horror film with mythology and other things intermixed into the film to give the vibe of wondering what exactly you’re watching. Of course there was a film that told the actual story more faithfully in 2016, but the 2019 is more revered and praised. Both are well done films.

The rules were changed into 3-men-team for lighthouse duties, instead of just 2. This reminds us of the Flannan Isles mystery some time later, where all 3 men disappeared.
