Excellent!!
Actually my favorite genesis album of all time 1978 in my room in a zone because this album is so moody it’s amazing writing and playing ❤still listening to it in 2024
misundertanding and hot fun inthe summertine loks the same
Beginning of the end of my interest in Genesis! When my sister said she liked Follow You, Follow Me I knew things had gone too far. I now say to people when discussing music tastes that I like “early Genesis”. Actually the album does have some interesting tracks. The opening always makes me think of Christmas for some reason despite its release in March 78. Maybe my brothers played it around this time?
That was dope 🙌
Crap pop shite
The utter joy of bringing the LP home, removing the shrink wrap. Admiring the cover art, placing the needle on the vinyl and sitting back with your headphones and listening the glorious genesis music while and reading the lyrics. Wow what memories.
Saw same tour in Pittsburg .same way , crowd acted like they did not care . Just us Spud boys
It’s like 11 again
You couldn’t use a real cowbell?!
OMG This Beats 10,000 volts as a single any day !!!!! But still Awesome This is the REAL ACE.. I would also Add that I thought the drummer completely OVERPLAYED this song. This song needed the AC/DC feel... KICK SNARE man.... not hitting every drum on the kit when there are no vocals... Just venting... Great tune... Drummer blew it My 10 cents
Ray comparing calling all stations to mama is hilarious 🙄😂
That's the way to do it; drummer's class as well....
Hugely disappointed in this LP when it came out. Loved Duke and Abacab. Loved Mama and That's All. But Home By the Sea ghost story and second, nah. The drum sound on those -- no thanks. The ghost story a little forced for me. Just the sound of Dodo/Lurker is miles better than this. Second half. Couple good songs and an embarrassing one. Invisibile Touch was better as was We Can't Dance (too long but good).
Imagine you were introducing someone to rock music for the first time and told them they were about to see a performance from one of the greatest percussionists of all time.........confusion anyone?
Ace is a lot like myself. I write what I feel and see. That's the key, being able to see where you are going NOT jyst where you have been!!!!😮
I don’t get it, this album is a masterpiece! But the band went through hell making it.
I love the old material i saw them first in 77 with Steve Hsckett seconfs out tour befote they became commercisl I loved them with gabriel lifelong fan regardless
I saw an interview with Phil where he mentioned that the band didn’t really turn a profit until this album. They poured so much money into their live shows.
Fiddle Collins!
I know it's part of the story, but it's a shame they spent so much time talking about Steve leaving, when they could be talking about a fabulous album.
Jeez, Rutherford is quite difficult to understand with all that mumbling. Phil, with his Weather Report reference "All right!' 😂😂
Don't 4get you don't kick ass anymore but you do have to KISS ACE spaceman.😅
Blind in 1 eye, can't see out of the other one??
Those are excellent behind the scenes photos. I'd love to know how that wheel holding up Bruce worked under water. I guess highdrolics and pumps and air hoses as seen in the exposed mechanical side of the shark.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
the Steve Brown Solo Band (featuring Ace Frehley)
talk about a great sounding band live and sounds like the original
Wind and Wuthering keeps bumping up on 'Trick of the Tail' and 'The Lamb' for my favorite Genesis album. LOVE 'Blood on the Rooftops', both in the lyrical concept and musically. What a brilliant collaboration! Took me forever to understand what Phil was getting at with that title. I now understand the subtle anti-war sentiment and cry against a general apathy.
as far as i'm concerned, the last great Genesis record
SAW THEM IN PITTSBURGH ON THIS TOUR MORE THAN 40 TRUE SUMMERS AGO
The anthology of my high school finding myself years. I first heard this dark one night at Steves Creek Reservoir, it made an impact forever. The album still touches my life today.
Pedo shit
Hail devo this is insaaane lol followed by gut feeling sheeeeeeesh
0:18 leo dicaprio on backup vocals lolol
I thank god I got a chance to see them live once.
Josh Freese slaughtering the skins as he channels Alan Myers. Truly awesome thing to watch.
Bob 1, one of the greatest rock guitarists.
I saw the Duke tour in New York….absolutely amazing…..
Fantastic pictures
Whenever you hire female background singers they almost always try to be louder and take the spotlight away from the main artist which seems to be the case here in this show.
Like ozzy osbourne. Just give it up already.
yea, barbara booey...... the last thing i heard befre i died
Fucken A
I remember this back in the day, laughed to tears. Thanks for this one.
I recall the first time we see the shark as Chief Brody is chumming, it really was startling how big the shark was compared to the Orca 🦈
Still the Greatest shark film ever no CGI just great Actors and hard work made this film a Hit🥰😍🤩
Anything with Billy West, and/or Jackie Marlo is gold. 🤣😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
Huge Genesis and Phil fan and this album is one where all the songs are winners. Same for Phil’s No Jacket. It’s hard to find that where you like ALL the songs!
Steve leaving was a huge mistake, for both him and the band.
Tony said "Yes had died" Really!!
