In Moss Point, Mississippi two white cops handcuffed a 80 year old Black woman and took her to jail allegedly because she made an improper turn. She innocently gave them permission to search her car. They found prescription drugs in her purse with a family member's name on it and added possession of contraband. When they got to jail they released her without charges. A friend passing by asked if he could drive her car to her house the cops refused and had the car towed to an unsecured junkyard, it cost her $175.00 to get it out. When she appealed in person to the police chief and the mayor they informed her that their was nothing they could do because she gave her permission to search her car. The cops didn’t even receive an official reprimand.

I am a middle aged black man. No disrespect to anyone,but I don't feel anything about what happened and that's sad. I've been seeing this so much until it's normal to me 🤯pray for our black men🙏🏼💪🏼

The shootings are an easy fix. You simply force the military's ROE on the police. Meaning the police can't fire, until they're fired upon. If that's how they're trained and what they're taught, that ends all the unjust police shootings. If you go shooting at the cops you deserve whatever you get, but this would keep them from just shooting people for no reason like they do sometimes. Granted that wouldn't apply to things where they killed people in other ways but it's nearly always a shooting.

This is really insightful. I believe in the importance of diversity in schools. It makes me think about travelling to different countries. Travelling outside of one's state, even! When you are able to see and interact with different cultures, it expands your knowledge in so many ways. It limits you when you are constantly surrounded by all that you know, i.e., your race, your culture, your language, etc. I didn't know much about this topic. Thanks for shedding light on this.
