Andrew, Brandon, and Kenny welcome you to the Macho Movie Madness channel!
On this channel, we'll cover Movies and TV (mainly Horror & Action) through our relaunched and refocused "M3 podcast". New episodes are released about every two weeks. Clips from the show will also be released periodically. If you have questions and want them answered on the show, email us or drop a question on the community page!
For those who like gaming, Brandon also does let's play videos of his favorite games. All bets are off here. You'll see random games from the old days all the way up to the modern era.
If you like our old episodes of "Versus!", you'll find those segments now integrated into our newly relaunched podcast.
Lastly, we decided it's not the best to mix wrestling talk with our movie podcast as some may not want to hear one or the other. So with that said, you can find that on our newly launched wrestling channel over at "M3 Wrestling".
As always, thanks for watching! OOOH YEAH!!

You guys mentioned wanting to see Glen Powell in an action movie. A remake of The Running Man is in the works, and he will be playing Ben Richards. The movie will be directed by Edgar Wright.
I have very mixed feelings on that.
Best In the franchise
We wholeheartedly agree!
The beginning of this month I was in San Diego and toured the USS Midway. They had a whole gift store dedicated to Top Gun.
That's awesome!
The film was made where I was born Lambeth south london
Love this movie!
It's amazing.
I was surprised to hear you guys dont like the twins deaths. I thought they were great. One has that cool silhouette on the side of the house when the lightning stricks and the other has a great stunt
Liv and Maddie Style Full House
Where the fog was filmed reminds me of beaches and headlands in the west of Ireland, I live there and as the mist and fog moves in it's epic
Grew up on the coast and this was one of the only local horror flicks of the time. I always felt like it was around Drakes Bay. The lighthouse looks like Point Reyes.
My first, true horror movie experience in a movie theater. February, 1980, Sunrise Cinema, Queens NY. I was SIX YEARS OLD!!! Thanks Dad! ❤
Mine was The Terminator (1984) at 5 years old. So I feel ya 😂
Watched it at 3am last night. Great when it first came out, even better now.
I'm 54 & saw this as a kid. Still an absolute classic.
I'm 54 and saw it as a kid!
The Fog was released when I was in high school. A few short weeks prior to the theatrical release, they released a pulp paperback book written by Dennis Etchison based on the Carpenter/Hill film in order to wet peoples appetite. I purchased a new copy and read it in a day (skipping school). Lost track of it some years back. Probably a collectors item now.
Ok , so i was a kid when it came out on HBO. Staying at my aunt and uncles (funeral home) and watched the Fog and Alien. The fog freaked me out more than Alien. Both great movies but.....a ten yr old watching the Fog in a funeral home and trying to go to sleep when the entire house is dead quiet. I did NOT sleep that night. The Fog has been a favorite ever since.
That's awesome. Thanks for watching.
Yeah the Fog will always have a special place in my heart. Such a creepy atmosphere
Watching The Fog in a funeral home is creepy in its own right!
Liv and Maddie Full House style, on Disney Channel abc
Friday the 13th part 4 is definitely the better film. More interesting characters, less stupid story (Michael Myers and Loomis not burning in the fire and Michael killing his family instead of no motivation) and better atmosphere. Halloween 4 is okay, but to say it’s as good as Final Chapter, one of the best slashers ever made, is insane.
I have the 1989 film on DVD and it's really good. I also like 2004 version too. The 2004 version has a great origin story while the 1989 version is very action packed.
No contest. Dolph all the way. Should pit the Steven's one..
I (Andrew) agree 100%
The Punisher 2004 is an amazing movie, I've seen it many times. I honestly had never heard of The Punisher 89. After all you guys had to say about it, I'll have to give it a watch. Dolph Lundgren being up there with Van Damme and Seagal sounds fair, he is underrated.
Had an absolutely awesome theme song!!
Swamp Thing or us? Or both 😂
the whole movie should have been about Adrienne Barbeaus fantastic tits.
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior is my favorite movie of all time
Angon Yelchin was a great younger Kyle Reese
Shout Out to Young John Connor's Friend for Lying to a Cop that just so happened to be the T-1000
Commenting During The Intro...IF Terminator Kyle Reese isnt #1 I will personally insult you both forever.
Best. Fight scene. Evar!
1: Uncle Bob, Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 2: The Phone Book Killer, Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 3: T-1000 Advanced Prototype 4: Kyle Reese 5: Sarah Connor, Terminator 2: Judgment Day 6: Sarah Connor, The Terminator 7: Child John Connor 8: Dr. Silberman 9: Ed Traxler 10: Hal Vukovich Honorable Mention: Blue spike hair punk Bill Paxton.
respectable
Road Warrior. Pretty easy choice. It's memorable. I saw Fury Road and couldn't recall later any one scene that stood out to me.
i remember watching this when it first came out. what a surprising great movie!
so good!
What the reviewers are saying without saying, there were valuable cuts to this movie made to get it released in theaters. And, a Directors cut, was never allowed to be released. Like Kubricks last movie, Eyes Wide Shut.
I grew up in Portland & was a fan of Portland Wrestling. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper just happened to be my favorite. That being said I would love to see the vertion of this movie from an alternate reality wherein Kurt Russell starred as the lead.
oh you mean you guys... I thought you meant like the royal 'we'. But yea I fukin' love this "movie".
It's 2024 and I'm still not a fan of Reagan!!!!!!!
It's funny carpenter thought Republicans would be the evil ones in the future and it turned out the exact opposite. 😂 This movie perfectly describes the modern, Trump hating Democrat. Perfectly.
Best fight scene ever. Saw this in the cinema, it was a blast!
You better keep those glasses on 🕶️
You guys are way off base saying that this movie is epitomized by the Democrats. Take a closer look at the Republicans.
Every side claims ownership not realizing that everyone is fucked by it
The reps are the party of the conspiracy, no doubt about it!!!
who said anything about Republicans being excluded? They weren’t mentioned as much but doesn’t mean they’re excluded from scrutiny. But this video isn’t really about that. In general, this movies theme was a dissatisfaction of Reagan and the commercialization of politics and pop culture. And it is a fact that Hollywood is overtly left wing. It was simply mentioned because it’s not a shock that he or anyone in the business would be anti Reagan or republican. Thanks for watching bro!
@@sp3cialed1absolutely everyone is fucked by it
@@MachoMovieMadnessliberal is not left. The cia has had an "office" in Hollywood for decades. The rich own Hollywood, the government, the media, etc. Democrats aren't left. I'm left. Not one person in any position of power is a true leftist.
4:10 You have to keep in mind They Live was made in the 80s when conservativism/Republicanism was popular and mainstream and the left wing were not in as much control. Now that's flipped; they are the mainstream, they control pop culture/entertainment/music/social media, and so they are HEAVILY in favor of censorship and controlling narratives because they want to hold on to their power. It's why people are turning against the left wing now, because the youth will always lean away from popular culture and towards anti-establishment. And I have to admit I'm here for it.
A childhood classic for me. I loved watching that fight over and over.
some Hindu heathen recorded a cam i couldn't understand 80 percent of the audio but it had decent picture i did like the movie it may not be as good as furyroad but it was very good i want to watch it again.
lol Hindu heathen. Gold 😂
i thought they live was a fake movie for a long time. ive seen clips of it but i alwas thought it was like a sketch or something.
It's one of my favorite documentaries.
I went and watched it last night. I thought it was a good movie. This movie deserves more ticket sales than it is getting. I chalk it up to this movie being a prequel. I was on the fence about seeing it for that reason, but I'm glad I did. I'd say if anyone is on the fence about watching it, go see it, you won't be disappointed.
Yeah, it's a fun watch. I can't wait for the next one.
Piper was just being Piper. Dudes who know they are legitimate BMFs dont feel like they have to prove how tough they are to everybody. Just relaxed and having fun with life.
Im a leftie and please please hear me when I tell you that with very few exceptions, Democrats ARE NOT left wing. Democrats today are a little right of center. People who sell you on "the radical, left wing Democrats" are either idiots or liars. Todays Dems are basically what the average Republican was during Reagan. _Actual_ left wing people fxng hate having to vote Democrat and the only reason we do it is because they are the only alternative to Republicans who, in todays political climate, are not just the hateful, ignorant and hypocritical a$$holes they were under Reagan but are also actual fascists, even if some of them are too dumb to realize it.
What did you all think of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga??
The long fight scene between Roddy Piper and Keith David is definitely one of the best parts of They Live. The guy at the very end of the movie saying, “hey what's wrong baby”, makes me laugh. I got a future John Carpenter recommendation, In the Mouth of Madness. In the Mouth of Madness is the third movie of Carpenter's Apocalypse Trilogy. It also has one of the two infamous Sam Neill screams, the other being Event Horizon.
We’ll definitely add that to the list!
I clicked Like as soon as I saw the overt subliminal message
That's hilarious
