Why can't they do these houses up instead of leaving them abandoned? Some lovely vintage toilets in that house. Houses like this are an open invitation to the dross of society, squatters, druggies etc.

Those are neat! Too bad they don't flush a bit better, maybe they would if they were in proper repair. Idk though bc I'm pretty much a noob to y'alls toilets

These toilets were common back in the late 80's and throughout the 1990's as I used to see them in Tesco's, Littlewoods, Debenhams, Sainsbury's, McDonalds and Burger King's when I was a child and through my teenage years and even into the 2000's (although the newer ones are not quite as good as the trapways are smaller) - I found these quite fascinating for being an early rimless toilet (obviously well ahead of it's time when it was introduced), they are normally decent performers if the flushes are powerful as most of these ones were!

Terrible toilets, the worst in the industry.

I love the Dauntless Rubberline but them fluidmaster cisterns are very badly designed

Not such a good flush, however I quite liked the pleasant sounding refill. I like that pan as at a friends house there was one quite like this. It had a pleasing running water sound as a refill and had a decent flush. It was the comfortable cream coloured seat that I really liked on that particular toilet, I just wish it was still available to visit it now.

Love the copper wastes on the basins; copper or brass s traps with a steep fall, bet those are noisy when the plug is pulled.

0:46 Noticed when paused. the lattice pattern plughole grid from 1890's- 1950's. Basin looks 1920-30's. Shallow bath trap obviously not original and likely a brass or copper shallow 1.1/14" bath trap on it.

Loved this, especially the second two loos. Interesting one being a H.L. I assume these were the L's eq of the gents here. It's a pity you were quick on the second one, but perhaps you had to. Great find.

I'm wondering what that L's looked like. I also can't help wondering what the original seat would have been like. As already noted looks like a lovely old place judging by that really nice window. I'd have liked to have heard the refill after that decent flush?

Fantastic! I love that wooden seat and refill, at least what I heard of it. As always wide traps really make it authentic! Not sure if the cistern is pink or not, but if not where is the pink effect coming from?
