Little over a week into mine and its honestly the worst thing ive had done, my c section doesnt compare lol. We just got my pain management under control after an er trip day 5 for not being able to swallow and looking at dehydration. The under side of the tongue does hurt and the referred ear pain with the burning in the throat hurts alot but with a combo of a narcotic, ibuprofen/tylenol, a steriod and a lidocaine gargle for the swelling, its helped atleast get liquids down though i can say havent really gotten to eat. Just keep reminding self no more recurrent strep, no more rounds of antibiotics for months of strep 🤞🤞

why when im awake i can breathe inward and its like snoring inside my nose near the bridge? i can feel it vibrate, like an opening with something swollen that move up and down as air flows in and out? it sounds/feels like theres a ton of liquid in there, but if i snort backwards to have it go down my throat like if i was sick or something to clear it, sometimes theres not even any snot or drip, its dry air. so whats moving and causing the issue then? its making me miserable every day all day for years especially bad in the morning and around allergens/ after eating spicy or acidic foods. i can somtiems feel sinus swelling near top of nose and eyes too. smoking weed calms me down and that in turn seems to calm the nose thing down. but idk what it is and dont want to go to dr to be told anxiety yet again

I had septoplasty turbinoplasty with microdribder. I am having trouble sleeping. I am feeling burning in my lungs. I am feeling lumps of dust in my throat. Hi Dr. Does the saline spray have salt in it? I can’t use anything with salt as it will further dry out my nose. I have been dealing with this since the age of 19 now 51. Here is what has worked for me. 3/10 minute rule. Pinch your nose for 10 minutes 3x…or my variation. Pinch nose for 10 minutes. If still bleeding, I use a Kleenex (or small tampon) and put a few drops of Afrin extra moisturizing on the end of it and put up nose for about 5 to 7 minutes. Afrin is a vasoconstrictor and will normally stop bleeding right away. However, do not leave in for too long because it can be drying. After that I put Aquaphor on a Q-tip inside my nose and coat the dry areas. (Make sure this is a very thin layer, do not put in thick globs. ) You can also hold a small ice pack or ice cube (in a washcloth) on the outside of the nostril that is bleeding. This routine stops the bleeding. From there I will put a thin layer of aquaphor (or you can use vasoline) inside my nose every few hours (or when it drys out) until it heals for the next couple of days. Do not blow your nose for a few days. I also take Keto electrolyte drops in water to stay hydrated and stay away from caffeine or hot liquids for a few days.

Wow, i had this turbinate reduction but on my sheet it says out fractured with cauterization, i have these gian boogers since my surgery which was March 6, 2024 plus i get cold air sensation when i breath through my nose specially the left side when i am cold parking garage at my job.
