I am a director, animator and producer of animated short films. In 1997 I received the Oscar for the stop-motion short film QUEST as best animated short film of the year 1996.

The Spinning History - Trailer
This was the Trailer of our Spinning Animation Show, so called 'The-Spinning-History'.
81 humorously and succinctly animation loops of historical events were produced in a Zoetrope workshop in two months. I was at the school four times for several days during that time for teaching and preparations. In the meantime, I composed music from prefabricated loops and developed a sound design with reference to the animations.

The results were presented by the participants and me on eight optical devices in a fascinating audio-visual Show of 40 minutes.

Hi Thomas, Is there any chance you'd be willing to upload all 11 minutes of Quest in 720p, or allow for the purchase of it at such a quality (or better)? I grew up with a lot of stop-motion as a child, and Quest was one of my favourites. I've been searching for it for years, actually. My grandparents had a copy on VHS (possibly recorded from the TV?) and I'd watch it over and over. They threw out most of their VHS collection around the start of the millennium, and since suddenly recalling Quest around a decade ago, I've been trying to track it down. I, and I'm sure many others, would greatly appreciate seeing Quest in its entirety in such detail. Kindest regards, -Steph
