In July 1945, Polish pilot Herbert Noga's P51-C Mustang SR 411 plane crashed on Darwen Moor in Lancashire. This WW2 crash site, still visible today with the original wreckage. This drone footage shows the wreckage and crater of the downed aircraft.

The first uploaded footage on my new CZcams channel. Stunning aerial footage of Darwen Tower taken with the DJI Mavic Mini drone on Darwen moor, Lancashire, England. A local landmark that can be seen for miles in East Lancashire. The tower was completed in 1898 to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
Love this! I’ve just shot a feature film across Lancashire and would love to use some of this. Please let me know your thoughts.

Wow, I was born in Darwen and lived there for much of my life. I have walked and mountain biked the moors for many of those years too, yet I still find out new and surprising facts about the whole area even now. We owe the Polish and the Free French pilots, soldiers etc who set up there exiled military fighting forces here on British soil a great deal of gratitude and respect for the massive part they played in the defeat of nazi far right extremists..... I have to check out this site.
The Air 2s video quality is excellent, nice shadows.

Hi Martin such a brilliant pic I have ordered a mavric minni 2 the 4drc wasn't good at all so upgraded hope I get plenty of fun out of it.

Great footage .....I had my mavic mini out on Darwen moor yesterday and had to bring it down after 30 min as a couple of kestrals wouldn't leave it alone lol and it was a tad windy up there for the mini.
Cheers, was getting a bit windy towards the end. Cut my flying early too.
@@martincottam497 yeah I was on the top of a hill near a car Pak on Belmont road I'm new to the drones so I thought I'd take it up there to get used to it out of the way but it was to windy for a distance flight so kept it near to me but I went around 7 pm and like I say I got scared of the birds and thought they was gonna take it out.
