I was just 3 days old during this performance... 37 years later I'm discovering Chet Baker for the first time. He appeared in a youtube cycle and I could have sworn he was a new, modern act. I was shocked to find he was a star from the 50s. Jazz, yes, but he still sounded ahead of his time. RIP Chet!

チェットベイカー、日本に来てたんですね ライブ行きたかった ドキュメンタリー映画1988年でしたっけも観ています。 チェットベイカー若かりしころ映画にでてましたね。日本は未公開ですが、ずいぶん前にCZcamsで見させていただきました。たしか、戦争映画でいち兵隊役でよくトランペットを吹いていて最後は亡くなる役どころでした。
