Conobbi Giulio. Malgrado siano passati molti anni resta indelebile nella mia memoria. Persona davvero speciale. E visitai anche la tenuta a Montalcino. Ma era tanti anni fa. Ricordo in sintesi la sua filosofia di vita. La sua Zagato. Da Milano a Roma impiegava poche ore. Non ricordo quante ore ma lui ne andava fiero. Ricordo che mi sfidò anche a fare una corsa a piedi, in campagna... ma in forte discesa, dove le mie doti di corridore perdevano di valore e per vincere ci voleva coraggio. La sua vita era spesso una gara. E lui la voleva vincere, sempre. Presto o tardi ti raggiungerò, Giulio, per apprendere nuovi insegnamenti.

I moved office furniture into one of the 2 buliding’s in July of 2000. Came back 12 years later for another move job and was just shocked not to see those 2 very buliding’s. I’m from Chicago and on that horrible day I was getting ready to head out to work when my mom stopped me and showed me the television. It felt like I was frozen just starring at the t.v. So my grandma worked downtown Chicago about 13 miles from my mom’s house and I remember my mom yelling at me to go get my grandma because my mom heard reports of planes maybe coming towards Chicago she was scared so I went to get her. So happy I was able to get her before they closed down more streets heading to the heart of Downtown Chicago. I was 18 I’ll never forget they day I remember everything I was doing the whole day

Beautiful before it got bombed (February 1993) and planes crashed into them (September 2001)

All these pre 9-11 videos have been interesting and reflective. The documentary movie Man on a wire is one of the better ones. I cannot imagine going on top. Or going on top of the Sears tower that’s frightening.

I had read years ago that one of these buildings was dedicated, in it's entirety, to the storing (and subsequent cataloging) of all push up bras and edible panties for the entire east coast.

They should have been rebuilt period. The floors where the planes hit would have been turned into museums and memorials.
