      The main differences, technically, are that the Wisephone has a larger glossy LED screen (more room for UI but worse for eyestrain), 4 GB RAM (slower), a removable external memory slot, and that creepy family control dashboard, and extra wide angle back camera. The Light Phone III has a smaller matte OLED screen (less room but better for eyestrain), 6 GB RAM (faster), and the Light dashboard, which only allows each user to manage their own apps, etc (no parental controls). The apps for both are pretty much identical.

    I absolutely love the Asana, it's my favorite barefoot shoe so far (though I've only tried like 7 or 8 pairs). I only use them casually, not for working out and so far they've held up extremely well. Speaking of Asanas, and I might have asked this in a different video before, but do you know the difference between the 3 numbered variations? When I bought my first pair last year, they were simply called "Asana". Earlier this year, during a sale, I noticed they also had an "Asana II" and nowadays there's even the Asana III. The only difference I could tell was that the original Asanas always had the leather patch at the back of the heel in a basic leathery brown color. The Asana II and III still have that leather patch, but it's in the same color as the shoe itself. Maybe it's not even leather anymore, I'm not sure. I haven't worn my Asana IIs aside from the initial check to see if they fit, so I can't say whether or not they feel any different from the original model, but it's kinda weird that they're already selling the third iteration while not mentioning any of the differences between the 3 models.

    • @AndrewFolts

      @@alimuhammad599 Interesting, are you walking forefoot? That's something I'd usually associate with striking at the outside front of your foot. • @kitcraft9516

    How does the forefoot width compare to the Primus Lite III? I went with a 10 on my Lite IIIs and they are too long (Addis are a 10 and are not too long...) but also a wee bit too narrow, which is exacerbated by the tpu panels and lacing system right at the forefoot. I was thinking about going down to a 9 on the Knit because many people say they run the longest of the Primus and I already have way too much space in the Lite IIIs but I am really concerned about the width of the forefoot. Any thoughts on this would be apricated. I think sizing down would be the right option, but I've messed up before, lol. Thank you.

      Good suggestion, maybe I'll do that tomorrow. The SG is better for soft/muddy ground, while the FG is better on rocks and hard dirt, although it's fine in wet conditions too, as long as the hills aren't too steep. The Magna Lite is lighter and more flexible and can be used for running. The Magna FG is a pure hiking boot and has a bit less flex, but more protection.

      The Tracker's czcams.com/video/ZkOLb1FbLLw/video.html insulated throughout the whole boot and is waterproof, whereas the Magna is designed for warmer weather and doesn't have any insulation. Ankle support isn't necessary with barefoot shoes, since you're so low to the ground that it's almost impossible to injure your ankle. I've "rolled" my ankle almost to 90 deg without even any pain, since there's no pressure from being on a high platform, as with traditional boots.

It's monsoon season rn so the months are mostly raining alot. I need waterproof barefoot shoes so I watched ur video! And I still can't decide what to buy😅 I'll buy at revivo since vivo don't sell textile now and my size of II fg is out of stock. So ur saying both are similar and textile is slightly more wide toebox and not too tight ankle? Then I gotta get textile. Fyi, I don't care if it's leather or vegan. Korea have a cold winter so hopefully I can get a shoes that I can wear in winter too. Can u help me to choose? II fg or textile😭 and the purpose is to buy a barefoot shoes for wide toes, help to overcome my flat feet. I read The Story of The Human Body by Daniel E. Lieberman. I'm not looking for a shoes for tracking, hiking. But a barefoot shoes that can wide my toes and not wet in monsoon

      @AndrewFolts Před 2 dny

      Hey there, I personally prefer the Tracker FG, since the sole is a little bit more versatile for all terrain, but if you're using them in muddy conditions a lot, then the Textile's FG2 sole would be a great pick. The Tracker FG is only more narrow at the very tip, and shouldn't make much of a difference. That said, if your feet are not just wide but EXTRA wide, then I'd recommend the Softstar Switchback with the synthetic upper, which is more water resistant than the leather version and has an extra wide option. czcams.com/video/ybp_g-8z2vo/video.html

    Query for you my good sir re barefoot sandals, did you find your feet needed to be “broken in”? I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for several years but never sandals. I took my DLDs out the other day for first real “urban” trek and my feet started feeling all prickly after 2hrs or so. Took them off and let’s just say the things had given me a rough pedicure on the soles of my feet and left skin imbedded in the footbed. Any advice? I’d hate to have to reconsider my purchase because of the footbed material (it’s the somewhat rough, slightly beaded for lack of a better word, footbed to give grip when wet) but maybe a softer one is in order unless this type of response is expected until one’s feet toughen up?

    • @AndrewFolts
      @AndrewFolts Před 4 dny

      Funny enough the Toetem Alpha and DLD Perception are my two most used sandals right now. The Alpha's are my favorites for pretty much everything and have a smoother footbed, which doesn't leave a mark, but, like you say, in wet conditions, the textured footbed of the Perceptions definitely has a better grip. You might consider just getting a second pair of a different brand and switching between them for different uses. The Frontier would be overkill for urban terrain, imo, but the Alpha is perfect. czcams.com/video/bU1cweEMjVA/video.html
