I've updated the sheet itself since the video was posted, there should be no impact to function of the sheet. Check out the 2 minute "LASTE 2" video I have under the A-10 Hero Playlist (czcams.com/video/efOrOUZiUmI/video.html). It will show a much more accurate method for getting the proper MagVar. (We didn't have that method available when this video was released!)

There is all the way on the left front on the dash (See timestamp 3:42 in this video) I reccomend keeping it in STBY, because in the ON mode it will fire countermeasures at will for any missiles, friendly or enemy. STBY allows manual control of your countermeasures firing.

It could be set to low light/night mode? OR it has the NVGs installed and not the HMD? (Try swapping them via Comm Menu -> Ground Crew -> Change helmet device)

😂 Isn't it? This is from before multithreading/upgrading my GPU. Running & recording gameplay in VR isn't the easiest on the system.

I can certainly try! Can you describe your issue a bit more? (What works, what doesn't?). I don't know why a gun sound wouldn't work if the rest of the sounds on an aircraft work, unless a recent DCS update changed something. Have you tried reinstalling it?

@@DamnedGh0st All sound mods that come with the mod work perfectly except the more realistic Vulcan cannon sound. I have this problem with the f16 Echo 19 Sound Mod

@@Gregor-the-DCS-Master If all other parts of the Viper sound mod work, all I can think of is reinstalling it. It's possible a DCS update broke compatibility with the cannon part and we need to wait for a fix.

I fly them all! I am a strong believer of using the right tool for the job, so depending on the mission/goals, I like to hop between the F18/F16/A10/KA50/AH64. I fly some other aircraft for fun as well when not as concerned with being "optimal" (SU's, Migs, Hercules, etc.) We do squad nights every Friday at 5PM MST if you ever want to fly with us, otherwise the group flies sporadically during the week. Feel free to pop in the discord to hang out while flying, someone else might hop in too :)

@@redb8213 RE: TDC - I would verify it is bound correctly and that you have the display as SOI (Sensor of interest), indicated by the outline around the display.

Howdy! I hope they help :) Great question! My favorite is "General Missile Evasion | 1 - Classroom & Theory" under the general tutorial playlist. No one ever watches it, but it's probably one of the most helpful videos out there for AA combat survive-ability.

@@redb8213 Baby steps 😅 luckily you'll get the muscle memory down for bindings while learning the plane. if you're following the 'lesson plan', I recommend not moving on to the next video until you have the a solid grasp on the topics of the current video. (eg don't move past startup until you can set the plane up for combat) I do have kneeboards and resources available to speed the setup learning though. 🫡

@@velimirtopalovic In the video or in your game? If you mean in the videos, this is a rather older one - I have started doing post processing stabilization on more modern videos to reduce shake. The only issue is it makes a quick to make 15min video take ~6hours to complete.

I'll make an F-15E profile once I start flying it/put up tutorials for it. I don't feel it's in a complete enough state at the moment to start work on that front without having to constantly re-update videos (Also why I don't have Harrier videos up yet, it changes too much). I have no awareness of profiles on the DCS website.

Ensure the the aircraft you want to fly are set to "Client" in the mission editor, then you will have the option for "Select Roles" from the Escape menu.

F1 to go back to your cockpit view :)

My series are numbered curriculum. Each video assumes you have an understanding of topics covered in the preceding numbered videos as they build upon each other. If a step is unclear, rest assured it has been covered at some point 🙂

Glad it helped! Until ED adds the option to toggle the FCR in the rearm screen, the FCR being present is set in the mission editor. If you open the mission you want to play in the editor and select the Apache you're flying, there will be a checkbox option to add the FCR 🫡

I dont remember where I found them originally - They were part of some icon pack I had found; unfortunately it didn't include all the aircraft in DCS :( I'll see if I can find a link to it.

I haven't felt like it's out of place; it is fairly naturally presented in my field of view. Could your VR headset be positioned too high on your head? Imagine the entire IHADSS display boundaries as a square, the "square" should be centered in your field of view, not the "+" (targeting reticle).
