Nymph, Dream, Emerald Lake Trail at Rocky Mountain National Park -September 2021
This was an easy trail for our first day in the Rocky Mountains. While the trail was marked as "easy", we found it to be moderately difficult coming from sea level earlier that day. Floridians trying to breathe in the mountains would be a comical sight for anyone that's already acclimated to that elevation.
We LOVED this trail and would recommend it to anyone that's visiting the Rockies for the first time. The views were gorgeous. It was cold (for us) in mid-September, but we came prepared with layers. Be sure to bring more water than you'll think you'll need. The air was very dry and staying hydrated was a challenge.
