In particular related to today's live stream segment regarding Israeli influence & AIPAC involvement in the U.S. Congress: each Congressperson has legislative aides, both junior and senior aides. One or the other of those aides is a "minder" for Israel, likely placed there by AIPAC or other influential pro-Israel organization and accepted by the Congressperson along with the donations to his/her political campaign. When the interests of Israel or legislation concerning Israel or related to an Israeli foe is being considered, the "minder" is there to extend the view of Israel on the legislation, to suggest or oppose legislation, to include or disinclude paragraphs in the legislation and, more commonly, to hand the Congressperson the language which Israel suggests or prefers. It's true. This is what happens. Very few Congressional representatives refuse such "advice" and if they do, they find themselves primaried with a chosen and well-bankrolled opponent. As our House members have elections every two years (Senators every six years), you will see what AIPAC and the JDL do this year against Reps Tlaib and Ilhan Omar and so forth. Millions and millions of dollars ensure attendance to Israel's interference in U.S. politics at the highest levels, as you know.
