The most important part of the tape is the front of the bowl which makes this installation completely useless.

For those that haven't figured it out, you pull and stretch as needed on the turns. It will come out perfectly, just like the ads. This person is a total moron for posting this, thinking this is the correct technique.

Mate, I thank you for posting this video that basically helped me figure out how differently this could be done. Instead of cutting at the bends, if one could just pull and stretch the same tape, it does bend well and aligns neat. If I can add a picture to this comment, I would do that. Thanks.

@@Dream-to2gx is the more professional way to do it and also as water/urine can sip beneath so silicone caulk prevents that from happening. you can do a youtube search " silicone caulk toilet" to see the difference
