It's a 2+ hour speedrun so I would assume it's fairly common for games that are not ultra popular.

I’ve been getting into PlayStation 2 again since 2019 and when I found this series out it just looked so amazing to me I still haven’t played it and want to do I just watch the beginning of this I don’t want to get spoiled any further but man this game looks awesome do you have component cables with this
I use composite S-video cables for this.
@@equinsuocha2733 heard component cables are best I have component but crt is best but obviously you can’t record videos with crt I heard there’s mods to make ps2 forced resolution but it don’t work with all games there is upscalers tho wich there coming up with ossc pro and you’ll be able to have high resolution on modern tv we’ll see what happens it didn’t come out yet there’s no realese for this component I’ll stick with for a while I played Tenchu 3 wrath of heaven on PlayStation 2 awhile ago I beat it so fun PlayStation 2 is filled with samurai and ninja games and hack and slashes as whole genji dawn of the samurai is a good one too

This is on an actual PS2 connected to my PC with a gv-usb2. Unfortunately this game just doesnt emulate correctly on any emulator as far as i know.

Hey! this was a game I was very passionate about when I was younger but anyway, I was wondering, at 16:48 there is a skip I found out by myself (years and years ago) that you can forward thrust (the multihitting stab attack) through the wooden block instead of having to obtain the oil and open it with the lever. Not sure if it's possible to do it in your run though. Also could I ask whether Roberto's Oni mode is more efficient for the final boss? iirc the moment Fortinbras drops down from the hover you should be able to kill him with his Triangle special.

EquinsuOcha haha assuming all the versions are the same and the game never got patched, that double thrust move should be capable of teleporting you just an inch through anything. Unfortunately those wooden barricades were the only relevant thing you can skip through using the trick that I could find back when I played. But it still saves you a giant coop puzzle headache! I also remember Soki’s Lift attack into its inbuilt followup was always particularly more optimal than its standard combos, especially using a 4hit sword (square square lift-> square and repeat) but I never tried just spamming his X+Square attack like in your runs, so Idk yours seems pretty efficient too Could I get a shoutout in ur next run if the thrust skip works? Hahahahaha

EquinsuOcha somehow I totally wasn’t notified that you had replied haha. You think a 100% run is possible or is it just too much effort to bother? (Like drop rate broadswords from test of valors and reaching depth100 in demon dimension on all 5 characters) Will check out ur new runs later 😊
@@nelsonguo2 i mean people do speedruns that are 24+ hours long so yeah you could do it but I certainly wont be running 100% any time soon

Man, sorry if this is a year old video and I only found it just now, but FUCK is this game good. Even more so when it had so much content in it. Why can't more games today be something like this? Oh yeah, and amazing run. I now learned that Head Splitter is incredibly powerful, thanks. But no seriously, a game that you would sink 80 hours into to 100% being speedrunned in 2 and a half hours... Good job man. Speedrunners always amaze me with how determined they are.
