What was the recovery time for this patient? I had a percutaneous fasciotomy on my R hand recently (dominant) which has allowed me to straighten my ring finger again but I still have a sensitive nodule in my palm which I want excised. The disease is mainly on the palm below the ring finger and partially on the lateral aspect of the little finger (the area looks similar to this patient actually. I need my hands for my work so I really want minimal time away… having an idea on this ladies recovery time would be helpful to know so I can make a decision on how soon I have the surgery. Thanks for your time in advance.

Awesome! Educating the public is so important. My friends and coworkers know how I feel about Big Insurance, but it feels like people are just so used to this inefficient system, they just accept it. I pay for everything with my HSA, including doctor visits. Being able to spend an hour to review blood work, ask and receive answers to questions, tweak things if needed, is well worth the money. I believe patients need to be more engaged and do things to help themselves. The doctor is their guide but if they don’t follow the advice and help themselves, it’s pointless. Once you feel better, you never want to go back to the way things were. Many of my labs are not even covered by insurance yet they are vital. One reason why I love Ulta Labs. They offer all the tests at reasonable prices, then I just go to my local Quest. I’m grateful for all the functional doctors who helped me optimize my thyroid and get Hashimoto’s under control. It would not have happened if I used traditional insurance…which is a dumb way to choose a doctor.

Excellent interview! I love my HSA, which I’ve been using for many years. I pay for functional medicine doctors who have helped me tremendously in getting Hashimoto’s under control with various things, including bio identical Liothyronine and NP thyroid, LDN, low carb, etc. It’s more than worth the investment in my health. I pay for my own bloodwork and labs, too. Crazy that most insurance won’t pay for a fasting insulin test. Anyway, great interview Dr. B!

All those in Washington better fix this. If you don't, you better go hide in a cave. Because once the American workers find out they have been paying for those rich fat cats in Washington. Hell is going to break loose. Senator Cassidy has been getting free healthcare on the tax payers dollar.

Premera and Evicore. Premera is now using a third party to give prior authorizations and they consistently only give 2 visits and deny the rest even when a doctor is saying the visit is medically necessary. I’m about to drop my contract with Premera.

The only bad truth told with precise details from two masters in hand surgery,orthop.surgery, traumatology and microsurgery Who cares of our patients?
