I cage the queens from swarms and cutouts for at least 24 hours to force the workers to start repairing their brood comb that I frame up. This helps anchor them into their new home. Watch how anxious they are to get their queen out so they can take care of her.

That hive moved in there last Sunday. The queen had just started laying eggs in the cells. It was 100% all new comb. Amazing how much they can build especially when a flow is on. Thanks!
Why are you killing them?
This is a vacuum designed for bee removal under low suction and there’s wire mesh in the chamber to prevent losses.
